Love them Verified Purchase
I bought two of these last year and I loved them so much I've just bought another 4. The warm white is a beautiful colour and they add a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere to my outside spaces. I put them on the ceiling in my boat's wheelhouse and they give enough light to sit with friends through the night winter or summer. Outside on my mooring the light diffuses more and adds a gentle background glow. I took a while to read the instructions carefully at first and to find the on button. I left them off for a day just soaking up the sunshine. Having done that these are really easy to put up and get working.

Blingstring Solar Fairy Lights can be installed in a matter of minutes by using the 2 simple mounts that come with your lights. The flat mount gives you the option to fix the solar panel to fences, walls, decking or roofs. The stake gives you the option to place your solar panel in your lawn, flower bed or plant pots. How it works

Blingstringï¿½s are completely solar powered. During the day the suns rays are absorbed by the Blingstringï¿½s Solar Panel which charges the rechargeable AA batteries included with your lights. After dark the AA rechargeable batteries power the lights for up to 12 hours before charging up again the following day. AA rechargeable batteries are easily replaceable after several years use and widely available from most supermarkets. Blingstringï¿½s are fully weather resistant and use the same amount of power as a typical TV remote control making them safe to use outside in all weather conditions.

Answer:

The only way you could do this would be to cover the panel to trick it into thinking night has arrived early. This will have a knock on effect on the amount of charge picked up during the day so you'd see a reduced runtime.
