Description
During the day the sun charges the ECO Wedge's battery giving it the power it needs to work after dark. The ECO Wedge's motion sensor starts detecting movement as soon as it gets dark. In the morning the ECO Wedge turns off automatically and begins charging ready for the night ahead. Once turned on the ECO Wedge is fully automatic, but it can be turned off completely at any time using the supplied activation pin.
The ECO Wedge XT motion light is among the easiest solar lights to set-up because the unit is completely self-contained and there is no separate solar panel. The ECO Wedge is quick and easy to install with no DIY skills required. Please note that the ECO Wedge must be installed outside in an unshaded location to work to its full potential.

Our lights really need to be in a south facing position so they get as much sun as possible, especially in winter as there isn't as much sun.

Please may I ask about the powersaving mode.
How many lumens is the powersaving mode?
And it says that the runtime is doubled in powersaving mode, does this mean that the the time the light is on for doubles from 15 seconds to 30 seconds each time, or does it mean that the light is available for double the amount of time?

Hello.
The standard mode is: 160 Lumens, The power saving mode is 80 Lumens, The motion sensor will activate the light when motion is detected and turn off approx 15 seconds after motion ceases.
