The cable is 3m.
No, this light does not provide any UV output.
The batteries can be replaced and removed,
The batteries in them are the AA Rechargeable batteries you can find on our website if you click here.
We wouldn't recommend putting the panel under a tree because it's very likely to receive little daylight, but this depends on many factors. A tall tree may have very high branches and not block the light. It might be worth considering using an extension cable to get panels away from the tree.
unfortunately at the moment, we do not sell the solar panel or the bracket separately
I am afraid we do not sell the cable only.
this is quite a directional beam.I cannot give the exact angle as it depends on how it is going to be placed etc.
The bulb cannot be replaced.
It is 5,500K natural white colour temperature.
Each extension will slightly reduce the power from the panel to the light, we normally recommend no more than 3. The reduction can easily be outweighed by having the panel in a far better position.
It comes with a 3m of cable. However, you can buy an extension cable which is 5m.
We do not recommend making changes to the units as the warranty will come to an end. However, this light is 120 Lumens.
Please see below:
52mm length
63mm diameter
Batteries are in the panel, so yes you could and it would charge. Just make sure the cables are dry.
The window will have UV protection in some degree, so will not fully charge.
It is IP55 rating.
Each panel will be able to support only one spotlight.
There is a 5m extension cable available where you can buy separately.
the 5 metres extension cable can be found here
These are a bright white light, they can't be dimmed in anyway but will look stunning.
AA rechargable 1.2v and yes they can be replaced.
Yes, the switch for the light is on the solar panel so if you install the panel within easy reach you can switch on and off as you like.
We do not offer such a timer but if your good with electricals I'm sure it would be possible.
Yes, please see the 5m extension cable.
3m
Sounds a great idea. The only on/off switch is on the panel.
With any of our spotlight the greater the distance the wider the coverage of the light but less bright the light becomes. I'd suggest trying one light and adding additional lights as and when needed.
We currently don't offer spare panel but will be soon. The panel size, light out and battery capacity are all designed to work together, a larger panel may work better in winter months but may overcharge in summer months. You are welcome to modify the light how you see fit but it will void our warranty.
It really depends on where you want the light and the panel. We sell 5m extension cables here
The extension cable is available here
The Albany features a Cree LED that is rated to 50,000hrs so will in effect never need replacing.
The Albany is a brighter, better looking, aluminium premium solar spot light that's also more compact than the Selenes. The Selenes are great spotlights, the Albany is just a step above. It's hard to know for certain how well the Albany will do based on your description however if you can get the solar panel south facing and unshaded for as much of the day as possible (perhaps using this extension cable) you'll get good performance.
It could be something as simple as the batteries need replacing, sometimes after around 12 months or so one of the 3 might go so it's worth replacing all 3 with AA rechargeable batteries - that will get you back up and running.
The Albany is a "natural white" which is right in the middle of cool and warm.
Yes, this is possible at the moment (early April 2017)
The max. diameter of the plug is 12mm.
The batteries are housed inside the solar panel so it must remain connected to the light for it to operate at night.
Unfortunately it's not possible to add a motion sensor to this light.
In the summer approximately half a day will get the batteries fully charged, at this time fo year you're looking at a couple of days to get them to full from flat.
We don't I'm afraid, all of our solar spotlights have the switch on the underside of the panel.
Thanks for the feedback James, we hope to have extension cables available early 2017.
The Albany solar panel contains 3 x NiMH AA rechargeable batteries that are easily replaceable.
No, the batteries are in the solar panel so the only compatible panel is the one supplied with the light.
1.82m from panel to light.
3m from lamp to solar panel.
