Hi can you tell me how to get a replacement pir, a bird has pecked the lens of mine leaving a hole in the lens, all I can find is mains powered ones, my light still works great after five years.

It is 275 lumens. The equivalent to a 150w halogen light. You'd be surprised how bright it is.

The batteries can be replaced. They should last at least 2 years. A new battery usually costs around £30 but needs a special quotation so always contact the office.

Please ask your friend to contact the original supplier. They will do some troubleshooting to find the cause of the answer and if it is faulty will replace the unit if it is inside the 12 month warranty guarantee.

The Light is activated via a standard Passive Infra Red (PIR) that works in exactly the same way as any mains powered version. With regards to fixing it to the ground it could easily be bolted down to concrete.
