They do not have replacebale batteries.

As you have said there has not been much sun around. You can unplug these as the battery is in the unit, so this should charge them up. To activate the powersaving mode please refer to the instructions which should tell you, however I have included this below for you:
Please locate the slide switch on the underside of the solar panel. Slide switch into on position: The lights will come on after dark in full brightness mode. Slide switch into off position The lights will turn off. They will still charge, but they will not turn on unless you switch them back on. Slide switch back into on position: The lights will come on after dark in Powersaving mode where reduced by 50%, but the lights will work for twice as long each night. Slide switch into off position The lights will turn off. They will still charge, but they will not turn on unless you switch them back on
Powersaving will allow the lights to shine as a reduced rate so they last longer, we recommend this for the Winter Months.
Please press the ON/OFF button twice to trigger it.
They split off from the splitter on a 4.5m cable, and can be exteded once to a total cable length of 9.5m each.

Atlas has a powersaving mode which will help prolong the life of the light throughout the winter. You can usually expect up to 6 hours in the winter.
We recommend having the panel as south facing as possible with access to clear and direct sunlight, so not under any foilage or tucked behind any bushes at all.
