We do not recommend making alterations to the light, as this can negatively affect the functionality of your light, and void your warranty. 

Hi, The Lumen rating for this lamp is 50 Lumens, this can be found o nthe green sticker under features. 

It's inside the light. You have to take the top of the unit off by unscrewing it, flick the on and off switch to the on position and from that point on, the light will automatically switch on and off when it detects darkness/light.

It depends on the batch. Sometimes there is a plastic tab on the battery compartment.

they have an integrated panel on the top of the light and the batteries are included (AA 1.2V 1000mAh NiMH rechargeable batteries)

The panel is on top of the product. So if it will be surrounded by foliage then it might not get the light it needs.

We expect our products to last for a minimum of two years, but this varies depending on the location, installation and the customer so the warranty is set to one year.

This light cannot be charged via a USB cable. It can only charge through solar.
