I have both the Durham and London post lights that I bought through Amazon. The bases are still fine, but the lights on two no longer work. I've checked the batteries and replaced them but to no avail - I think the light unit ay be kaput. Do you sell just the replacement light units for the London/Durham lights? By Mark on Jan 10,2015
Can the Durham solar post light be installed in the lawn? Unlike the garden lights it does not seem to have the post fixing so how would it be installed on grass to remain stable. Many thanks By Geraldine on Sep 15,2014
Answer:
You'd need to concrete it in to install it in grass. It comes with hooks to do this. Alternatively if you're able to screw it down to a hard surface near grass that's one other option.
The other spike post lights available are: London Post Lights and the Solar Glow Post Lights

Question:
how could they be secured to brick paving? By Robert Crossland on Aug 25,2014
Answer:
The base of the light has three holes. I would recommend using some form of screw anchor through these holes into an appropriate fixing for bricks.

Question:
Can you buy just the solar light unit ( without the pole) By Kjg baker on Aug 6,2014
Is it easy to remove the solar panel/light unit from the top as per the London solar posts that I already have? I only ask because I would like to put the post at the front of the garden by the pavement and I am concerned that someone could take off the top and walk away with it. Thanks. By Kris Gardiner on Jul 26,2014
Answer:
It's the same as the London's. Luckily we've never had any theft reports on any of these lights!

3 will be fixed on brick pillars and 3 on timber sleepers. How are they fixed and do you provide the fixings?
If we order now can we have a timed delivery Friday or Saturday morning. Thanks By John White on May 15,2014

The fixings are supplied. There are L-shaped screws which go into the ground.
You can order them on a next working day delivery for an extra charge or a Saturday delivery which is more expensive.

Question:
How do the lights get attached to the ground? Doesn't seem to be a spike or screw holes? By Paula on Jan 23,2014
Answer:
The Durham and York are attached to the ground by way of screwing it to decking or similar. Alternatively it comes with "L" shaped prongs that can be buried in firm earth or concrete to keep it upright.
