These lights do just switch on/off with no test mode.

We do not recommend doing so, as the panels are designed to power one set of lights specifically, and extending the chain can potentially decrease the functionality of the festoon. 

These lights are not motion sensored, they will just activate when it is dusk.

The festoon is not available on it's own, it does have to be purchased as the set.

The USB you will need is a USB C connecter, you can also use a Samsung charger.

Unfortunately not, the 4m of cable is designed to allow you to find the optimal position for the panel.

We advise charging your lights for 3-5 days if you're charging by sunlight however for USB you can charge it for 4-6 hours.

They cannot be joined with another set Im afraid ,

We would recommend charging via usb first which could take up to 7hrs but more than likely 1-2hrs. You could leave the panel outside for 3-5days with the lights off too. This gives the batteries a full charge so you get the most of your lights straight away. 

It's mainly cosmetic with the Lumify vintage bulbs having a different look and clear wire between each bulb.
