The units won't come fully charged. Prior to start using the lights you should always leave the lights switched off for 3-5 days and allow the batteries to built up charge. The run time would be extended. 

This unit needs AA rechargeable batteries,

You have to replace them if the unit stops working. 

No sorry, bulbs cannot be replaced.

Copper is just the effect, Copper in colour so no problem with turning green.

The lanterns are equally spaced 50cm apart. The solar panel with it's integrated battery are at the end of the string, 2m along the string from the first lantern.
