Hi Jackie, sound like the battery may need a boost or a change. leave the lights out switched of for up to 5 days to regather a charge if not I would advise to open up the panel and cheange the battery
A NiMH AA battery charger would be compatible.
However, the batteries can also charge through the panel.
I am afraid this cannot be controlled or programmed, they will light up automatically when is gets to dusk.
Yes, these lights are waterproof.
The on/off switch button is located on the solar panel.
There are spaced about 0.5m apart.
The string comes in green colour.
The lights are placed approximately 0.47cm apart.
Yes comes with one battery but a 900mAh and it will all depend on the size of the panel and settings to discharge the battery. I've not seen any feedback on them being dim. Our Lumify range has more batteries and a larger panel along with more modes including power saving for winter and USB back but only comes as a fairy light.
The spike is part of the panel.
The Elan range the panel is part of the string and doesn't plug in. Please have a look at our Lumify range which has a plugin panel and plugin battery pack here
