Hi,
The panel will not charge through glass as modern windows are designed to keep out up to 98% of all UV rays, and UV rays is what the panel uses in order to convert into energy and charge the battery.
no you can charge your solar panel while the lights are switched off
if you press the mode button it should take you to the mode for permanent
unfortunately not, we either have them in 100 which is 10 metres or 200 - 20 metres
I am afraid not.
I am sorry to hear that. The panel is integrated and this part cannot be replaced.
As long as the solar panel is exposed to some direct daylight (not through glass/window etc) you can put the fairy lights inside a glass jar.
However, I would be mindful and make sure that the lights are not staying inside a jar that is full of rainwater etc.
There are two different products. The Elan fairy lights can only be charged via the panel. The Lumify can be charged via the panel and through a USB cable.
The warm white will have a yellowish effect.
We would only recommend these for outdoor use. Our Lumify range have the option to use indoors, perhaps look at those.
No sorry!
The lights are on a 10 metre string
Our lights work best in direct sunlight but can work throughout winter running on daylight, run time/ brightness may be reduced
Our lights do all work in the UK winter conditions, they may not light up for as long as they can in the summer months.
These do not have a run time and will keep going until dawn or until their battery runs out, depending on what comes first.
These will come on automatically every evening, after being turned on for first use.
The cable is green.
These are purely decorative and give out the same light as fairy lights on a Christmas tree.

Our lights are made in China.
If you cover the panel the lights will come on in the day but will not charge so will likely only last a few days. You could have a look at our Lumify range which includes USB charging and charge at night and use in the day.
Both of the 100 LED sets (Lumify and Elan) are 12m strings, 10m of light string with LEDs evenly spaced and then 2m at the end to the solar panel or control tube.
Covering the panel will stop them charging and switch the lights on, of course, this will reduce the amount of charge per day so we would only recommend doing this for a limited time or maybe every other day during summer months.
Yes, we deliver to Spain up to a weight limit then we need to quote you. The main differences are the USB and the settings modes (flashing etc.)
These fairy lights are designed for outdoor use but are not designed for being submerged under water.
Many customers use our fairy ligths when camping. I can't think of any reason why canvas would be a problem as LED like the one if our fairy lights are very low energy.
I can't think of a reason why you could not use them cantilever parasol as long at the solar panel get sun light these fairy lights will work.
I'm afraid this isn't possible.
Hi Polly, the major difference is the USB backup which is only on the lumify solar fair lights. The panel, battery tube and number of lights on a string are different too.
Currently the Elan ranges comes in white and warm white.
The string of lights itself is 10m, with 10cm between each bulb.
