Please can I ask whether you have tried leaving the lights switched off for 3-5 days? I would recommend 5 if the weather is particularly overcast. Our lights can come partially charged and might work straight away, whereas others need a boost.
If after this time the light still has not come on I would recommend you check where the light is placed and to make sure that there is no heavy shading on the panel or anything obstructing the panel from receiving a full charge.
Hi Duncan,
Unfortunately, the Elan Festoon bulbs are not replaceable.
With all out lights we advise south facinf positiong so the sun raise reach the panel for an ultimate charge
Hi A P,
The solar panel cannot be mounted to a wall, it comes with a stake.
Hi there,
You would need to leave them to charge for 3-5 days before turning them on,
They come with pre-installed batteries,
Unfortunately, you cannot join 2 sets together.
They are more of a ping pong-sized bulb. The size of the bulb and the metal fixing is 8 cm.
It does have an on/off switch.
you can turn them off manually
These will run from dusk until dawn or until the batteries run out, whichever comes first,
Please can I ask whether you can check along the string to see if there is any bites/breaks that would stop them from coming on? Any damage that is found please can you respond with a photo, we can then look into this further.
If you cannot see anything please just double check the location of the light, that there is no outside light in the evening that could be getting onto the panel, this will trick the panel into thinking it is daytime and the lights will not come on, to test this please cover the light with a thick towel/jumper and if they come on please reconsider the panel location.
If all else fails and this has not been done already, turn off the lights for 3-5 days and allow them a base charge
These lights will be ok to leave out year-round, you will find a shorter run time in winter, this can be solved by turning the lights off for 3-5 days.

Depends on the amount of daylight, if you want them to come on in the day then you can cover the panel, we don't overly recommend this though as it prevents the light from charging.
No they're not but we do provide a one year warranty.
