Question:
Hi would it be ok to charge the supplied AA batteries in a Uniross battery charger, it's a normal slow charger not a rapid charger ( although I have access to a Uniross fast charger as well) or alternatively use the small Apple charger as I don't have a PC to charge them from. By John on Jan 27,2015
Answer:
You can use an external charger for the green AA batteries supplied. Later batches have blue batteries which cannot be externally charged.

Question:
Good afternoon! I already own a large set of your outdoor lights which have been adorning my apple tree for the past couple of years. I'm now looking at replacing my indoor fairy lights but am aware that some sets I've seen in other peoples houses can be intensely bright to look at. Do any of your sets work with your advertised dimmer switch to give you more control over brightness? Also will you be stocking more of the coloured ornamental double flower led light attachments? Many thanks.
Nick By Nick Scahill on Dec 28,2014
Answer:
Unfortunately these lights do not have a dimmer switch and do not work with the dimmer switch we sell. We will not be getting any more of the ornamental double flower attachments for the foreseeable future. Very sorry.

Question:
I purchased 2 of these a few months back and yesterday morning bought them both in to charge up for a Halloween party tonight, one by the mains and one by the computer, the light when plugging in was red. Looking at them this morning they are still red, should they not turn green to let me know they have charged? Thank you. By Annie on Oct 31,2014
Answer:
Only the new versions of the Everbrights turn to green once charged. You can unplug the set you have there after a few hours, it will be charged.

Question:
If you wish to recharge one's fairylights from the mains (or computer USB), do you have to bring in the whole solar unit to recharge and not just the Nimh rechargeable batteries? By Patrick Buckley on Sep 2,2014
Answer:
The solar panel will disconnect from the lights. You can then bring the solar panel indoors to charge it via the USB.

Unless i am mistaken the 300 Led's use the same batteries as the 100 version but both last the same amount of time in use, is this correct? By Brad Spanner on Aug 28,2014
Answer:
The batteries and solar panel specifications are slightly larger for the larger sets of lights like the 300 LEDs.

There is 10 LEDs per meter each with equal spacing. This is roughly 10cm.

Question:
Do the bulbs hang from protruding strands off the main wire or are they just slightly proud of the wire and if so do you have any that hang in strands, need this type as want to push them into glass bottles for lighting up a raised flower bed! By Jenny Knight on Jun 24,2014
Answer:
The LED bulbs protrude slight off the main wire. The lights would look great in glass bottles and with the solar panel elsewhere to get the sunshine.

Question:
How bright are these lights? I'm looking for a solar powered LED strip to add enough light underneath a large umbrella to allow visiability to the people underneath. Would this suit what I want? By Will on May 21,2014
Answer:
Yes. This set would give out an ample amount of light. You could also use the 10meter sets but the amount of light would be less.

Question:
If a a bulb goes do the remainder continue to work? By Simon & Julia Matthews on Feb 6,2014
Answer:
As these are LEDs it would be very unusual if one was to "go". LED lights are designed to last and not "blow" like an ordinary household light would. If there's an LED not working it's more likely be a break in the wire. The other lights will not work if the wire is broken.
