yes, you can install it on a shed roof.
Unfortunately, we do not stock spare parts for this item. Very sorry for any inconvenience caused.
Hi Stephen, these are daisy chained so would have to work together
It sounds like the batteries just need a boost, please switch of the lights for 3-5 days to allow the batteries to gain a full charge, Once these are then turned back on, they should run a little longer for you. Please note that in the winter months you will get slightly shorter running times as there is shorter daylight hours and more shade.
It can either be spiked into the ground or wall mounted to the wall using screws and Rawls which are provided.
On the back of the panel.
Yes, the panel can be installed on a fence.
There are two cables, which are 3m each and connect to a splitter which leads to the panel.
There is a 3m of cable between each light and the solar panel.
Sadly the spikes are not sold separately.
I am afraid that we do not sell an extension cable for these spotlights.
The instructions will help you with attaching the spike. You will need to remove the ball joint from the back of the panel.
I am afraid not. We do not sell an extension cable for these lights.
IP54
IP54
The lights are connected and there is 3m of cable between each light and the solar panel.
The on/off switch is on the solar panel, so can be switched off and on manually, depending on where your panel is situated.
This unit would be suitable.
I am afraid that we do not sell the brackets only.
Both the panel and the spotlights can be adjusted and secured at a specific angle with the bolts provided.
We would not recommend modifying the unit at all as this invalidates the warranty. Sorry.
I am afraid that with this set there will be one panel and 2 lights with cable in between. You may want to look at the integrated panel products we have in the 'Spotlight' section if you do not want cables.
It is on the solar panel.
I am afraid there are no extension cables currently for the Globe.
The lights do plug into the panel.
Toughned plastic
Sadly the batteries cannot be replaced. The yare a long life lithium ion battery. We cannot give a life expectancy as it totally depends on a number of factors.
There is currently no extenstion cable available for the Globes.
You can use the spike or attach to a wall, for full instructions click here
Fittings included for stake, deck/wall mounting so and fence would be fine too.
Each extension will reduce the performance due to the resistance in the wire however this can easily be offset with a better-positioned panel.
You can not submerge the light heads unwater.
3m of cable between each light and the solar panel.
The batteries are in the solar panel which has a number of screws keeping it sealed. Once you have unscrewed the panel it will give access to the batteries. Generally just switching the light off for 1-3days will boost the charge.
IP56 rating.
We don't do this at the moment.
No, the panel is only designed to run the two light that comes with the Globe solar spotlight.
We recommend you live the panel in direct sunlight for 3-5days to fully charge the battery.
3m of cable between each light and the solar panel.
Light head:
8.5cm diameter
10.2cm deep
Light and base size:
16.5cm high (including base)
34.8cm high in total when the spike is attached to the base although only the light head and base would be above ground.
The solar panel:
23cm wide by 19cm high.
The solar panel is 14cm long with wall mount base attached so would protrude out from a wall 14cm once installed. With the spike attached the solar panel is 34cm high in total although only 16cm of this 34cm would be above ground.
Thanks for the question, you are correct the light sensor is in the panel.
Yes, there's a powerful 4W solar panel included with the lights that can be located awaly from the lights
Firstly you need a remote panel as under a tree the panel is unlikely to get enough light to charge. Putting the light further away from a tree could solve the sun to panel issue but will reduce the illumination, For something as large as a 30ft tree you might want to consider our flood light. It depends on how much you'd like to illuminate.
