Thank you for your question,
the polycrystalline solar panel charges using UV rays, which are still present on cloudy days meaning it can still charge. The charging will be quicker during a brighter day with direct sunlight.
Hi,
The bulb in a light fixture is not replaceable for a few reasons. One common reason is that the light fixture is designed with an integrated or non-user-replaceable LED light source. In such fixtures, the LED component is built directly into the fixture and is not intended to be replaced by the user. This design choice can offer advantages such as energy efficiency, longer lifespan, and reduced maintenance. The LED lights built into the fixture are designed to last 50,000 hours, or over 5 and a half years (if the lights were to be constantly on.)
Hi Antony,
The light is motion-activated only, the light comes on once it detects motion and turns off 15 seconds after there is no more movement around it.
It's all located from the power button, so once you pressed it on it will be on standard mode and if you press it again it will be on powersaving mode and the 3rd time it will turn off.
This light is motion-activated only, the light will come on and stay whilst it detects motion and switch off 15 seconds after it stops detecting motion.
Hi There,
You have the standard mode which will come on from the first press of the power button and is the brightest mode,
then you have powersaving mode which dims your light but extends the runtime so you can tell when it's on this mode,
Lastly, you have the 3rd press which will turn your light off.
Hi there,
The lights are screwed on as it's more secure on the wall.
Hi There,
The light is 120 lumens bright whereas the dusk till dawn is 60 lumens bright.
I would suggest the motion light if you're looking for a light to come on to see your keys out of your bag.
Hi Lee. The solar panel for these lights is located on the top. Theis part of the light would need to be in direct sunlight for the solar panel to charge the batteries.
Hi Alex. The motion sensor on these lights would be triggered by a tree moving within the motion range of the light.
Hi Simon. Once motion has been detected, the light will illuminate for roughly 10-15 seconds. This cannot be adjusted.
Hi Morgan. Yes, if you would like to look at our security lights, we have a range of lights that have a remote solar panel.
Hi Sam. We do advise that our lights be installed in a south-facing position for optimal use. If you use these lights on powersaving mode they should be fine. I would also recommend looking at our lights with remote solar panels, which can be placed in a sunny position.
Yes, this light is the same fitting as the non-motion sensor light.
Hi David. The round switch located on the back of the light, when clicked once the light will go on standard mode. When the button is clicked twice, this will put the light on powersaving mode. The third click will switch the light off.
Hi Richard. This light can be left on and it will only be triggered when the light detects motion. The sensitivity of the motion sensor cannot be adjusted on this light.
Hi Farah. This light is not available in black. However, we do have other wall lights that come in this colour.
Hi Bettina. The sensor range cannot be adjusted on this light, which means it can detect motion from up to 8 metres away.
Hi Philip. Our lights can be charged in both the on and off positions. We do advise that when you receive your light you switch it off and allow it to gather a base charge.
Hi Vanessa. This light does have an on/off switch on the back, which can be turned off if you like.
Hi Sarah. The round switch located on the back of the light, when clicked once the light will go on standard mode. When the button is clicked twice, this will put the light on powersaving mode. The third click will switch the light off.
When the light is in power saving mode, it will be a little dimmer than in the standard mode.
Hi Susie. Yes, this light is a solar-powered light.
Hi Gemma. This light would not work in a shaded area, as the solar panel is located on the top. I would suggest looking at our security lights, where you can position the solar panel in a sunny position.
Hi Paul. These lights measure 170 mm.
Hi Tana. The solar panel for this light is located on the top, this is the section that will need direct sunlight to charge the batteries. If you wish to light a shaded area, I would suggest looking at lights that have a remote solar panel.
Hi James. This light has a sensor that can reach up to 8 metres at a 100-degree angle when any motion is detected close by.
Hi Rebecca. The range on the motion sensor cannot be adjusted.
Hi Susan. I would recommend our security lights, we have a range of lights that have a remote solar panel.
Hi There,
To change modes press the power button as it's all located on the power button.
Press once: Standard mode (recommended to use in summer and brightest mode)
Press twice: powersaving mode (recommended to use in winter and dims light but extends runtime)
Press thrice: the light is off.
It is integrated on the top of the light
It depends on how big the area is and the effect that you want to give.
Usually, something around 100 Lumens would be sufficient for a wall light.
this is only motion detected however we do have the same light but from dusk till dawn : https://www.thesolarcentre.co.uk/products/Grantham_Up_Down_Solar_Wall_Light-896-56.html
The PIR sensor range cannot be adjusted.
The panel is integrated and the lights are on the outside edges of the panel, so will not interfere
It will stay on for 15 seconds.
This light is 15cm high with an 11cm diameter and produces a stunning warm white light with a sensor that can reach up to 8 metres at a 100-degree angle when any motion is detected close by.
the solar panel is integrated on top of the light.
it would need to be positioned where your light is getting direct sunlight so as long as it is positioned in an area where there's sunlight coming through that would be perfect.
