the battery lasts up to 2-3 years
This light will only come on automatically when is dark and when motion has been detected. There is a sensor on the panel. It does not come with a switch button.
This unit won't have a switch button. It must be the PIR sensor that you are talking about. Once the unit detects motion and it is dark it will illuminate you do not have to press on a button.
It is warm white - 3000k.
This unit does not have a switch button. The panel detects when is dark and when is daylight.
The light will stay on for approximately 10 seconds after motion ceases
No sorry!
This something that we would recommend testing in the area with the light itself. We try to be as acurate as possible with PIR ranges.
We sadly don't have any lights with a range of 2m. I've seen many customers position the lights facing the front door on a wall or gatepost to stop passers-by triggering the lights.
We do not suggest tampering with the light/PIR sensor as this will invalidate the warranty. Some customers have used tape over the sensor to minimise the sensitivity and reach.
Hi Trevor,
The light can pick up from 5 metres and has a 120 degree detection field.
Hope this helps.
The panel needs to be pointing up to receive light so sideways or upside down the light is unlikely to work. You can read the full instructions here
Yes, this could work.

Hi Philip,
Without testing them in the situation you are installing them it's hard to say. I'd suggest testing them about 5-10m apart and between 1.5 -2m off the ground. The higher off the ground the more spread of light.
Hi John, no the batteries can't be changed on this model.
Yes, all of the solar lights we supply come with rechargeable batteries.
Daylight is fine in most cases however the charge level will be reduced from what you would expect on a sunny day. Motion activated lights, such as the Guide, do a good job this time of year in all sorts of weather.
It depends on the height at which the light is mounted however it's plenty bright enough to light up an area around bins.

The Guide has a 120 degree detection field and will detect up to 5m away, we've added a diagram to the picture gallery too.
We've added a diagram to the website.
