The spike equates to approximately 38.1cm.

The pier mount could be used to attach the light to the table surface. We would recommend attaching it using the pier mount as the light alone is lightweight and therefore may be prone to toppling in windy weather conditions. We would also recommend installing the light in an area with maximum sun exposure, because if the solar panel is installed in a poor location, it may not perform to the best of its ability.
