Question:
Are there any solar path lights that really work in the winter? By Peter Halford on Jan 31,2015
Answer:
Most path lights will struggle in winter due to the size of the solar panel and where it is located. If you have an ideal location for the solar panel and it is getting direct sunlight then it should work.

These could be dropped into a custom made hole in decking but would not be very stable as the stake is not supported all of the way down.

Can I put more power full mAh NiMH batteries ? By Max on Feb 2,2014
Answer:
You could use more powerful batteries but it would not be recommended as the solar panel is designed to fill the current battery. You may find the solar panel won't be able to fill the larger size battery which will lead to wear and tear on your battery.
