Hello,
The lights are weather proof so can be used all year around, you shouldn't store them away over winter as the battery can deplete so much that they will not turn back on.
Hi Mark, our light are weather proof but not waterproof so submerging them would not work.
Hi David, We dont have an extension cable for this light unfortunately
The lights will operate if you disconnect or cover the panel. However, we do not recommend that. It is best if you use them as per instructions.
They are spaced approximately 10mm apart.
Normal sized cable clips will be sufficent. The string is the same size as mains fairy lights. The cable is green.
The LED light is reflected around the bulb outputting in all directions (side on and up top). Hope that helps.
1, Multicolour are only in 100s
2, Both batteries are same size 18650 but milliamps are 2,000 on the 100s and 2,600 on the 300s
3, The battery output is the same so the lights will be the same brightness.
The length of each light unit including wire is approx 3cm. Many customers use hooks or cable ties to secure the string.
There aren't any plans to introduce a 300 LED multicolour option at present.
Sadly we only have green cords for the lights.
Hi Annabelle, the colours are Red,Yellow,Blue and Green
The battery should not need replacing on these yet which is why we do not currently offer one for sale. In this scenario it is best to contact [email protected] to go through some trouble shooting and should a replacement battery be the solution they will provide one for you.
These lights can be charged via the solar panel or via USB. If you intend to use them long term indoors you have two choices. You can USB or solar charge the battery to full, disconnect the panel or USB cable and operate the lights as required from the tube. Alternatively you can remove the battery and leave them plugged into a USB cable that will power the lights direct.
