The tube would be, but it depends on the size of the tree. I would probably look at our Lumify Multicolour 100's as these would be more suitable. We do have a whole range of fairy lights to explore

We would not recommend that. It would be difficult to install and keep the tube lights in place at the edge of a lawn. Unless you have a small fence etc that the lights can go on.
