This has just arrived but I don't understand how to turn it on? I've found a black button at the top inside but that's not doing anything. Please help

Answer:

The on/off button is the one you are describing. As it has just arrived, please allow the light to charge for 3-5 days in as much direct sunlight and then do try using the button again. Please can I just make sure when you are testing the light in the dark, so please cover the panel with a towel and try it that way. Question:

We have just purchased this light, your customer service adviser has informed us there are three settings but the instructions give only on/off settings. Can you please advise how to activate the third setting which apparently will alleviate the problem of the light remaining on? Thank you.

Hello,

Please see tbelow from the instructions the Three modes. So to not have it on all the time, you might just want to use mode two. 

How to use:

 

Mode 1: Light is set to remain at low brightness until motion is detected which activates high brightness for up to 28 seconds.

 

Mode 2: Light will only activate when motion is detected for up to 28 seconds [This is the best mode for winter]

 

Mode 3: Light is set to remain OFF.

Question:

In your Frequently Asked Questions you answer that these lights cab be secured by the base. Is there a way to secure them against a fence please? Thank you.

Hi Tim, would not be able to secure these light against a fence unless you have solid floor by the fence

Hi Edward, 

no, the lights are not linked, however they do work off a dusk-til-dawn sensor meaning they will switch on and switch off around the same time, depending on light conditions during dusk/dawn.

Unfortunately we would not recommend leaving your lights in a heavily shaded area as this will impact their ability to recharge and function properly.
