we unfortunately do not sell a base separately, but the battery in it can be replaced which may address the intermitant functionality.

Hello, they take Li-ion 1500 mah 3.2v. The base is replaceable however the battery is not I am afraid.

Because our garden gets very little sun in winter, I want to store my six Shimmer mood lights in my loft until spring. Can/should I remove the solar batteries from the lights before storing?
