My light has hardly been used. It is just over 1 year old and I can't get it to work. I have changed the battery and have had it outside in the sun for the past two days. Do you have any suggestions?

I am very sorry to hear this, please may I ask you to turn the light off for 5 days in a south-facing position to recharge the light, if after this the light is still not illuminating, please email our customer service team at [email protected] for further assistance. 

Question:

I recently purchased this lamp and have placed it on my bright window ledge to charge, it has been there for over 2 weeks and doesn't light up. I have tried using the remote supplied(even changed the batteries in it) to try to get it to light up. There has been the odd bit of sunshine during this time Is there something else needed to get it to work?

I do apologise as it won't charge through a window, it will need to be directly outside in the sunlight to charge.

Please can you try charging them directly outside it should turn on?

Hi Nikki, The IP Rating for out Shimmer table light is IP 44 this is the classifications given to lights when they are tested for protection against solid objects (dirt, dust) and water
