These batteries are not replaceable, they are wired into the unit. 

The detection range cannot be shorterned or adjusted. Have a look at SMD range 

They are a lithium ion battery and cannot be replaced. 

The light level cannot be adjusted. The Softech detects motion within an 8 metre range with a 100 degree field of detection. It should light up that door, but it is worth testing in the area, due to the height etc. 

Yes, the panel can stay fixed on the light or be remote. The wire connecting the panel to light is 1.6m long but you can purchase 5m extension cables here if needed. For full instructions on install please see this PDF 

The light comes with a 1.6m cable but you can buy 5m extension cable here. We wouldn't recommend using more than 2-3 extension cables as the resistance in the wire reduces the power going to the light however this can be outweighed by a great panel position. 

The Softec is a white light.

That is correct, the light will only come on when there is motion. Light: 11cm Wide 12 cm - Long 3cm depth

The rating is IPX5, it is toughned platic.

The solar panel can be positioned remoted on the top of the light. If the panel is attached to the light you can change the vertical angle (up and down) but not horizontal (left and right) however the light can rotate horizontally. 

This light is motion-activated only.
