I'm getting just one night's use out of these when they have been fully charged via USB. Is that to be expected at this time of year? The listing on your website states: "Power Saving Technology Maximise the brightness in the summer and double the runtime on shorter days." I had hoped not to have to charge them via USB every day.

Thank you for your question. Please can I ask whether you are using these on the powersaving mode, as it is not clear from your question.  If not, then please do use them on this mode. If you can please give them a USB boost and then place them on the powersaving setting for winter. Hi Alison, These light dont have a powersaving mode. The modes allow you to change colours and flashing pattern

My lights have stopped working at night even when fully charged, but if I cover the solar panel in the day they work. I've moved them around the garden but it's not made any difference. Is there any advice you can give me please

I'm having the same problems as Mr Young with my lights even when charged through the USB they come on for a few seconds then don't work at night but if I cover the solar panel during the day they stay on

Thank you for your query. This would indicate to us that there is another source of light reaching the panel, and tricking it into thinking it is daytime. Please make sure there is no natural or artificial light reaching the solar panel.

Do the bulbs change colour by them selfs if not do you a set that changes colour by there selfs.

Hi, There are different modes on these lights, I believe number 5 would be the one you would like, you can also just have them on one colour if you require. This can all be done by remote control.

3. Lighting modes

4. Timer settings

5. Static AB Colour Mixing

6. Static colour selection (red, green, blue, orange, cyan etc)

Can the bulbs be replaced on you Festoon garden solar lights?

Question:

I recently purchased a set of 10 Festoon Lights, I cannot get them to work. They will not recharge through the solar panel and when charged using the USB connection they only flash for about 20 seconds then cut out. The solar panel is not in a location were there is another light source. There has not been much direct sun over the past days but the light has been fairly bright. Can you please advise what action I can take to cure this problem. C Young

Are the solar panel and light string disconnectable? What kind of battery is in the solar panel? Can I replace or recharge it?

- The solar panel can be disconnected from the lights!

- I am afraid the battery inside is soldiered in so this can not be replaced.

Does the light change automatically to the next colour or is it only fixed to using one colour that gets chosen by using the remote control. Secondly, is there any different lighting modes too?

The Soho lights come with a remote control that you will use to change the modes that will stay on until you would change it:

1. On
2. Off
3. Lighting modes
4. Timer settings
5. Static AB Colour Mixing
6. Static colour selection (red, green, blue, orange, cyan etc).
Please note that this is a generic remote control unit which is used for a variety of different
products so not all buttons will function on your Soho Solar USB Festoon Lights.
