The PIR sensor is the small white "bubble" on the front of the light - you can see it if you click to enlarge the photo with any luck. It can't be adjusted at all but will detect to approx 180 degrees.

This light is roughly the equivalent of a 20w incandescent bulb. The light is finished with a stainless steel effect, not black.
