The batteries are not replaceable I am afraid. They are an NIMH 800(mah) 1.2 v battery.

Is mode 2 a green light like it says in the video or a yellow one like it says in your blurb?

Hi. I bought four of these recently and love them! I see that someone has already done what I would like to do and had positioned them on fencing. The light patterns are amazing and would look good on my fence. Is it ok to mount them in this way? The weather-proofing qualities will not be affected by them being vertical? Thank you.

Answer:

The Solar panel is on the top, so we would not recommend them to be mounted this way as they may not get the sun they need to charge.

The batteries cannot be replaced. 

Question:

How do these fix to the decking is it through the base of the fitting is there any information to show this? Could these be fitted to the risers of steps clocked in decking ?

Answer:

The decking lights are screwed down to the decking on the outside of the lights, so will not be fitted into the decking, so be mindful of fitting these onto stairs.
