5w 12v LED Light Bulb Bright, and being LED, lights up immediately - loads more convenient then my previous flourescent bulb. Lights up my 8' x 10' shed nicely.

Amazingly Bright! Verified Purchase
Having wired up 2 light fittings with the 3w LED bulbs in my big corner stable which is divided into 2 smaller stables with a light over each and being amazed with the light produced, I decided to replace the 8w strip light in my 12' x 12' stable with the same fitting and this 5w bulb; wow! It's easily as a good as a mains light and lights up every corner of the stable!! Very Impressed, and only 5w, so less of a draw on my battery!

Description

5w 12v LED Light Bulb for use with GEO Lighting Kits.
LED bulbs for use with 12v DC Systems.
This LED light bulb (ES/E27 Screw Fitting) is ideal for systems that require enough light to work by for long periods of time. Equivalent of a 65w standard household bulb.
So not only are these LED bulbs exceptionally bright but they use a third of the power of a fluorescent bulb, are far more robust so less prone to breakages and have a far greater life expectancy.
All this and they only use 5 watts of energy per hour they are used.

Frequently Asked Questions

Question:
Will this bulb work with a solar lamp with 3 1.2v batteries?
By Hilary Campbell on Jul 1,2015
Answer:
This all depends on how long you want it to work for and the size of the batteries. I would suggest that you may need bigger batteries. Please take a look at our Geo Kits for a better idea on how to do this.

Question:
Hi, I am very interested in two of these for the 12v system in my caravan to run off the leisure battery. However, the current bulbs have a narrow Edison screw fitting, probably short?. Will your bulbs fit or are they full size? Many thanks, David
By David Titchfield on Mar 31,2015
Answer:
They will not fit as they are the bigger size fittings.
