Bought this a few weeks ago to put near my house number/sign. It is really good quality, feel and looks great. I have it set to winter mode and it’s lit all through the night until it becomes daylight. I love it so much I’m definitely going to buy another. Dorchester solar light Verified Purchase
Great light looks the part and works well on solar. We ordered 4 last June and one had a leak causing water to corrode the fitting and it stopped Working. The solar centre were brilliant, I contacted them and sent some photos, they never quibbled and sent a replacement in two days. Great product and great customer service highly recommend.

I hardly leave reviews, but for this product my concious will judge me if I don't. This kit of light is absolutely amazing, I was sceptical in buying these. I have very little confidence on solar powered lights. However, these have changed my perception. I bought 3 for my pathway. They arrived today, after seeing how they look I have ordered 2 more. The outside casing is beautifully finished, classic and elegant. And for this price absolute worth the money if you like spending on good quality kit. I have ordered 5 Dalington lights for the front of the house and 1 Hadlegh hanging light. I am hoping they will be of same quality. Don't hesitate to buy this light it's beautifully

The powersaving mode will dim the light a fraction so that it will be able to work in winter for longer, it doubles the run time! A very useful mode I am sure you will agree!

Question:
I'm struggling to recharge the lights . Had to take off the wall to redecorate .had them inside . When I returned to wall not working . So I'm taking the bulbs out . Returning to the wall . Plan to leave on south facing wall for 5 day . But struggling to work out if switch is on off or reduced power is there an easy way to tell and does it matter while I attempt to recharge ?//

Answer:

Hi Steve, The best thing to do is switch the light of for 3 to5 days let the battery gather a charge. The bulb can stay in place and on the 5th day switch the light on it should gather a booster charge and work nicely
