I wanted this product near the charging point for our electric vehicle. We could not see the car's plug in the dark. Now it is lit up brilliantly. Very bright! And of course only comes on when the PIR senses something. A bit “plasticky” but robust for what it does.

I purchased a Dover P.i.r. security light but after a short time it failed to work. Solar Centre customer care were excellent and sent a replacement. Unfortunately the replacement developed the same fault, and again, an alternative model of security light was arranged. I have purchased other items as has my son for his garden. The products are of very high quality and are extremely reasonably priced.

Description

This distinct floodlight has an unequivocal presence with its three adjustable light heads that are designed for completely customisable coverage. The middle light head can pivot 90 degrees up and down, and the two heads on the left and right adjust 360 degrees up and down, and 120 degrees side to side.

The Dover is also equipped with not just one, but two motion sensors that detect motion up to 8m away with a 180-degree area. This floodlight provides wider coverage for activating the light when motion is detected offering much-needed light in the dark whilst also acting as an innovative intruder deterrent.

  • Mode 1 - Automatic Lighting

    The solar floodlight automatically turns on at night until dawn or until the batteries run out, whichever comes first. There is no motion sensor function in this mode.

  • Mode 2 - Power-saving Mode + Motion Activated Full Brightness

    The solar floodlight automatically turns on with power-saving mode at dusk and then activates full brightness when motion is detected. The light will return back to power-saving mode 20 seconds after the motion stops.

  • Mode 3 - Motion Activated Full Brightness

    The solar floodlight turns on full brightness whenever motion is detected. It automatically turns off after 20 seconds once the motion stops to prolong battery life. [Strongly recommended for best winter performance].

    thank you for cancelling my double order which was a mistake by me. What I would like to know is can I shorten the cable to the solar panel to make the cable more neater .thanks Mike.

    We recommend folding the cable neatly and using cable ties to shorten it. We do not recommend cutting the wire in any way to shorten it.
