0 | 0 Wanted some sort of lighting in the shed without spending loads on electrician. I installed the solar panel on south facing shed roof and the light inside. The pads to secure the lights are sticky; but I added a couple of drops of superglue just in case. Nice and bright. Not bright enough for a workshop; but no longer bumping into tools in the dark. Appreciated the little discount code. Will buy another one.

1 | 0 As some reviewers have said, the light isn't really bright, but it's easily bright enough to find things in the shed at night, or to change out of wellies at dusk. It comes ready-charged, so you can use the light to help route the cable. There's a diffuser on it to spread the light around, and it's really straightforward to fit and use. Why not 5 stars? I've not yet removed the diffuser / cover to screw it to the shed wall (it comes with double-sided foam tape which may not be strong enough at sticking to wood). I looked at it and decided I needed more time than was available. I'll need to be careful as it looks a bit fragile. If the cover was easier to remove I'd give it 5*.

3 | 0 Having read numerous reviews on this light I was expecting it to be brighter, but our 10 x 8' shed without windows might be on it's upper limit. It was easy to install, I also following another reviewer's suggestion that you can remove (carefully) the lens and use the two holes instead of the sticky pads and drill into the shed roof. Overall I'm pleased with it, maybe need to buy another one to really get the brightness I thought we would have had.

0 | 0 Both the solar panel and light are fully plastic and very lightweight but work well enough. Bright enough although you would need more than 1 to light up anything other than a small area . Let's see how long the sticky pads that hold the light last as there is no other way to fix the unit to a surface.

It really is not quite bright enough for a moderate size shed. Obviously a brighter unit would run batteries down quicker. note to self, do not order in a hurry.

The light looked smaller than I had imagined but it really works well. The light is bright enough to read by and really warms up the interior. I was so impressed that I bought another two and my shed is really well lit. These are great value and just perfect for a shed. Would definitely buy again.

1 | 0 First, delivery was quick and very efficient with comms etc. The light: I have a shed which I use as an outdoor office and am short on electrical outlets (plus I notice the electricity usage spike massively when I work from home) so was looking for a solar light which didn't have a sterile, bright white effect. This absolutely didn't disappoint, not only is the light bright enough to work whilst keeping a warm feel, the charge lasts far longer than I ever expected - especially as it's December and sunlight has been in short supply. It will last a full working day and then some, i've accidentally left it on a few times and have been surprised to spot it still going when I remember. Very happy with it.

'I keep meaning to tell you about the little solar light that you sent over. We stuck it on the pelmet above the window by the gas ring so we have a light in the kitchen when there is no electricity. It is a good place for it and it makes a big difference when I'm trying to cook on the gas ring. It works so well.' I'm online to buy another to send over so thought I would post a review.

I bought two.of these to add to it and they seems fine. Not sure about fixing then with double sided pads onto treated wood but I discovered the cover simply unclios to reveal two mounting holes which I've used. Quite impressed with the amount of light which is plenty to sort the chooks out and collect eggs after work. Slight reservations over the durability of the fixing method which is adhesive pads, but it seems pretty firmly attached to the side of the shed. 0 | 0 Great product for the price - easy to fit and lights up my small shed just nicely, bright enough but without being dazzling. 2 points which stop me giving the full 5/5... 1. A longer wire would be good as it would give more flexibility in terms of location of panel and light. 2. Ditch the sticky pads and provide proper instructions for removing the cover and using the screws. Mine came with the screws but had to figure out how to remove the cover myself as the instructions only mention the sticky pads.

They have been using the light for 6 months and it is still working, it is used every day and they are quite heavy handed , so i am impressed that it is still working. i have just purchased 2 more lights as they are on offer to take to Gambia on my next visit.

As other people have pointed out it is easy to remove the front cover to use the screws provided to mount the light rather than the sticky pads, having said that I used shorter screws to avoid showing through on the other side, same with the solar panel. After charging for a few days it all works really well. Recommended.

3 | 0 For a £15 solution to the problem of seeing what I've just packed into my little storage shed, this is actually very good. It has charged up satisfactorily, and throws a very decent amount of light onto matters. Two learning points before you buy: One may need cable ties to tidy up (though the cable isn't very long) and it may be better to glue (I used Gorilla glue, but other brands are available) the solar panel bracket to the roof than to use the rawlplugs.- especially as I i no handy wall quite near enough. I may yet get more for my other sheds.

Light can be screw fixed by removing the front diffuser but the instuctions don't explain this even though the screws are included in the pack. Being picky black cable clips with black cable would look better than white and short cable may be a problem for some applications. Great value for money
