Just a note to those who were not happy with lights and to those who put them up straight away without charging. I bought the solar fairy lights for my garden. They worked at first came on really bright but after a few days they got dimmer and finally just didn't work. I was really annoyed as they looked so nice and the hassle I went through to pin them to the fence. Anyways to cut a long story short, yes they will work instantly but will not last unless you charge the. I did not know this and was straight on to customer service to send them back until I was advised to try this first. Turn the lights off, if you can't tell if they are on or not place a box over the panel to simulate dark and they will come on. Press the little button until they appear off or alternatively unolug them at the back. Leave them unplugged for five days ( I know annoying) but this will charge them right up and they will then have stored enough sunlight to work great! Wish I had known this. I thought mine were faulty. Now after 5 days mine work amazingly and I bought them 2 weeks ago around beginning of december. They are great!
