Customer Reviews - Blingstring Solar Fairy Lights - White 200 LEDs
Bought several sets of these after admiring a friend's garden. They were easy to set up and came on after one sunny day. The only thing I'm not keen on is that they're all far closer to blue than white - cool white rather than warm white. I didn't see anything about that on the box so thought white was white. Not so! I will probably end up buying more for the colour I want eventually which is a great shame but might be able to sell these I suppose.

15 | 0 I put them around a weeping fir tree in the garden. The solar panel is not in an ideal position but the lights are on for at least 6 hours every night even when the weather has been really dull. A very good buy.

0 | 0 These are seriously the best Solar fairy lights on the market!! Easy to install.The option of wall mounting is the brilliant and big solar panel! Have many sets in my garden and are now introducing them to my clients gardens to add a magical touch at night. They stay on all nite and when I wake up at 5.30am they are still on. But obviously the winter sun can affect length of the show. Definately recommend them to anyone. Thanks again for a quick n prompt service guys!

Both sets will adorn the decking at our static caravan & being solar powered will work even while we are away. The order was quick & delivery very efficient. The lights have only been up for a few nights but the solar panel is much larger than most sets and seems very robust, and the lights have not let me down yet. I charged the battery fully before switching them on. They look very pretty and I hope to get many months or hopefully years out of them. I would definitely consider this company again for further purchases.

Still with original batteries supplied . I would recomend them to anyone who loves a bit of bling in their garden to lighten up dull areas. We bought some in December albeit they were the USB charge ones and were so pleased with them we thought we'd try this, Not disappointed at all, they are superbly bright look lovely. Again speedy service, can't fault the Solar Centre at all.

The lights look OK - difficult to see if they are better made than cheaper alternatives. They need to have a longer service life than my previous (Bright & Cole) set - which only lasted two winters.

4 | 0 We've just bought 4 sets for our new garden, and we have to eat outside every night, no matter how cold, as the garden looks so magical. We had bought a set of Blingstring lights 4 years ago for our old house and they also looked stunning. They didn't survive the move however and only a handful still worked when we set them up in the new house. But we were impressed they had worked for 4 years. These new lights however seem much better made, especially the panel. Looking forward to a beautiful garden for the next 10 years! I would do away with the 8 functions. I'd prefer them to be just on or off. I don't want flashing disco lights.

4 | 0 I have a 15 foot high maple tree in our front garden and I ordered two sets of lights which arrived very speedily. I set up the two solar panels on a fence post which I strapped to the bare tree trunk pointing south. A seven foot step ladder and a paint roller on an extension pole got the lights in place. As darkness fell.....what a great sight!!, the lights are FAB and twinkle beautifully as the tree sways with the breeze. Every day has been dark and gloomy since I put them up though the lights still come on as daylight fades and last for about 6 hours each night. They have withstood gale force winds and lashing heavy rain this week and still shine on. We are very pleased! One suggestion would be to look at a fixing that could strap around tree trunks or branches as a fixture for the panels. Thank you Christmas has come early in our street!

On all but the dullest of winter days they start twinkling as it gets dark and keep going until they run out of power, depending on how bright the day has been. To charge the battery, the more sunshine the better. We have ours at the bottom of the drive draped over the camelia bush and they make a really pretty seasonal welcome to the garden.

4 | 0 After reading reviews decided to go for these for the inside of a summer house. Wanted a good quality solar panel with good charge. Waited quite a while initially as they were out of stock when ordered. But they were delivered promptly when back in stock and customer services has been good during the wait. Easy to install and worked straight out of the box. My only minor criticism would be the wall mount, which doesn't fix securely to the solar panel it just slides on and off. It would probably be ok but a small screw through the shaft has sorted that. Maybe an enhancement to think about? The charge and brightness is pretty good so far and it's only Autumn so hopefully come summer they'll still be in good shape.

I called them and they said a box of 200 would be sent immediately and I could keep the 100 with their compliments - and they did. They had some charge in them when they arrived and I left them in the sun to charge that day and they were flashing brightly that evening. They have even survived a recent storm with very heavy rain. The solar panel is fairly big and comes with attachments for fences or to put it in the ground. lights come on automatically when it gets dark. Love love love them! :)

Not a huge fan of these various flash/strobe/pulse//flicker modes espec where it's a single button (which can fail over a period of time from prior experience of unrelated strings of lights), but so far for my £25 spent I am very happy.

6 | 0 Even in the dark wet days of South Wales these lights have consistently provided around 6 hours of light each night - bearing in mind that was when daylight was only 8 hours. So in late December they were coming on about 4.30 and going off about 10.30. I am very impressed with them and they are so much better than the lights I've bought on the High Street in the past. 100% recommend them.

4 | 0 Very easy to use , one person job, except if your tree is too tall. I have disconnected the solar panel and placed it in natural light during the daytime to power the lights in the dark north facing front garden.That seems to work, also bringing the panel in doors and placing in well lit rooms , then re-attaching helps power the lights longer. They look beautiful .Speedy , no nonsense purchase, you are informed by text & e-mail all the way to delivery, always prompt , fantastic service well done Solar Centre staff! Thank you !

5 | 0 If you ate in any doubt please don't be. I was dubious as I thought Mmm solar is it actually going to be bright enough. There are excellent. It too literally five minutes to put them up. Stick the solar panel In and well that's it. I will be Utilising them after Christmas on the trellis as they jut look good. Great for Summer bbq's. Delivery was quick, well wrapped and evident that I am pleased. Oh and I am glad I went for the 200 bulbs as I wasn't sure but yes definite. They can always double up and they do Look classy not tacky. Thank you very much.

5 | 0 They were dispatched really promptly. I had looked for a while at solar lights but many got mixed reviews. These are great-come on at dusk and last until bedtime, even in this dull weather. Good different programmes to put the light on too. Look lovely on our apple tree

4 | 0 Very happy with these so far. Bright and shiny in the garden and powered for free. The only drawback is the switch is on the panel so you need to be able to reach it, I WAS going to mount it on the roof of my garage, out of the way but have settled for on the fence. They have been fitted for 3 weeks now and all good so far.
