Perfect outdoor lighting Verified Purchase
I wanted an up and down light by my front door but didn't want to pay for an electrician to wire it in. I bought one of these and was so pleased I bought 3 more. I now have two on the front of the house and two on the back. The front is north facing so having the extension cable means I can place the panels in the sunshine at the end of the garden. They are extremely bright on the highest setting and look fantastic. Having the USB charge option is great for the winter too. For the money I think they are brilliant.

I know these seem more expensive than you would find in the shops but pay for what u get which is excellent lighting. I am well impressed by these and they come with extra cable and a very handy USB charger option so in darker days just put on charge and good to go. Easy to install and look fabulous. I ordered 2 of these for either side of our entrance. However one light didnt seem to want to turn on by itself and seemed to require switching on which was a bit of a pain. The other light worked fine. I contacted customer service about the issue and after checking a few things, a replacement was ordered. This was really good customer service and absolutely cannot fault. Im looking to order some spotlights at some point too and this place will be the first place I'll look.

Only had these up a few weeks but it is Feb and the quality of light is excellent. Use to have similar mains powered lights on our previous house and these are just as good. They also have the option of dimming to save power. How long they last we shall see and the solar panel is ugly but they are a really good purchase so far.

I rate trust and service quite highly when making my purchases. Of the three of these that I purchased 1 works really well as I think they intended. One didn't work out of the box, I do have a replacement on the way and I'll be trouble shooting the other this weekend. The lights feel and look great, I may have been a little unlucky with the ones that I have received. I can't knock the service as that has been pretty great so far. Providing that keeps up and I end up with three working solar lights I'll be a happy man :).

The Chester up and down light is stylish and aesthetically very pleasing. It is very bright and charged very quickly, I thought these will look good on the step wall up to my house. The problem was the short cable from lamp to panel (45cm), not very versatile, it was not long enough to to reach the other side of the wall which is South facing.. I understand Solar Centre now include an extension cable which makes it more versatile when positioning.. Good on them. Their customer care is second to none , they sorted out my concerns immediately .
