3 | 0 The lights are good and we are using them for a remotely located lambing shed that is off grid. My only gripe is that each spot has its own remote. I would much prefer all 3 lights to be operated by one remote. (then we could also hold spares in the event of loss or damage) Hard wired switches would be even better from our point of view. We have the remotes zip tied to columns nearby but I wonder how water resistant they are.

5 | 0 I am impressed with SolarCentre's customer service. I bought an EVO SMD light for a horse field shelter: the first one did work sometimes but usually not, and SolarCentre were prompt in replacing it. I still have the old one and it clearly has a loose connection somewhere. The quality of the light and solar panel is very good, but you must be aware that the light will only work when the input to the panel stops, so in the twilight it will not work.

15 | 0 We're using this to light a sculpture in memory of my husband. After discussion with the family on whether to downlight or uplight we decided upon the latter and it's great. My only criticism would be that the solar panel is bright white so is not very discrete as it's attached to our fence, black would blend better but I can't fault the lighting effect. Very pleased!

7 | 0 I fitted this light a week ago to light a patio, and have been pleasantly surprised at its power. It was easy to fit and seems to work exactly as described. Admittedly it is midsummer so the limits of the solar panel haven't been really tested, but I am optimistic that it will work far better than our previous solar light.

9 | 1 Floodlight with solar panel was pretty easy to install, placed it back of house, two thirds up the wall. The wire from the panel and light is extremely long. I cable tied the excess to the back of the tilted solar panel. The light is smaller than I thought. But that's fine as it is powerful and illuminates the back garden well. The light is bright white. Maybe a softer filter included would have been a good idea. I would have preferred a softer colour. But for the price it is very good. Plus it doesn't run of the mains! Haven't had it long so haven't timed how long it lasts fully charged. Should last 10 hours. 7 and a half out of 10.

4 | 0 I ordered this product for the garden and was unsure how well it would work. I set it up in December and I live in Scotland so I was aware that we don't have that much sunlight to power it! However it worked really well and lit up the garden perfectly. However it was coming on at random times, rather that when I used the remote control. I emailed for advice on how to stop it doing this and they immediately sent me a new unit saying the original was faulty. Excellent service

It's excellent, had it up a year and its still going, had to change battery in the remote but that is to be expected. It lights the yard up well, helps us feel safe while we are down there alone.

4 | 0 Been up for a fortnight and works well. Good illumination even on dullest days, but this is the height of summer so can't say how it will do in the depths of winter when needed more. We gave a 12m pétanque piste and I bought this so we could play later socially in summer and for winter training. It's away from our house electric supply and this is proving ideal. Also it's remote control works from anywhere in the house even though the light is 15m away on the other side of a brick garage. Fun for seeing what nocturnal wildlife lurks at the end of our garden, and I'm sure would be tremendously reassuring if intruders were suspected. Well made and looks much more water tight than many similar products I've seen. Easy to install with clear set up instructions. Well packaged and delivered on time.

2 | 0 Seems robust & was easy to install. It lights a large area of my stable yard (much further than I expected actually). I like the remote control as I don't have to walk onto or leave a dark yard. The only downside is I'd have liked a longer cable from the solar panel to the light so the panel could have been fixed on the south facing side of the stable roof. We'll see how it goes throughout the winter, but so far it's exactly what I was looking for.

2 | 0 I bought two of these separately to bring to Tanzania for a farm. The first one didnt work I gave a very harsh feedback but when the second one arrived it worked as perfectly as the manual said really cool thing and the area lit is perfectly lit. That prompted me to compare the two and realised on the first one the switch was faulty perhaps during delivery but I opened it up and realised the contact plate and the thingys that make the switch had fallen off and into the battery box. I fixed it and BOOM it worked perfectly. SO THEN!!!!!!! I am recalling my bad review that the light doesn't work. PLEASE MAKE BIG ONES LIKE 2500LUMENS

8 | 1 After a straightforward installation I switched the unit on and waited for darkness. Much later, as expected, the light came on and was certainly brighter than I expected. I then used the remote to switch on and off with no problems from approx 25m without needing to extend the aerial. So far a super product, used every night for the dogs last outing!! Downside is that i'd like another 2/3 but not if each has its own remote. Is it possible to look at sorting this out for a future product.

7 | 1 This is a sturdy, properly made light with strong connectors and switch. It gives a good light which illuminates quite a large area along a garden path. I'm now using two to light a path, the only drawback is that you need two remotes, one for each light that you have.

0 | 1 This is the second one we have bought. The first one at the house end of the garden has worked so well that we decided to have another one at the garage end. As the panel is separate to the light we have been able to place that on the sunny side of the garage and the light on the shaded side. The remote control works very efficiently.

It has great adaptability, it can be left to come on at dusk or it can be controlled via the remote, ( which looks like a Bond villains booby-trap switch... hours of fun to be had right there). The light is bright and the control works instantly from 30m away. The panel was fitted inconspicuously on a south-facing wall and the floodlight has worked continuously. Good Job.

The light is very bright and easy to fit. More solar lights with the ability to turn on and off with a remote control would be great they are difficult to find solar lights that do this on the market.

You were right in saying it would be brighter than the 2 x Theo lights I had already. It is now a bright enough area I can take photos throughout the night without additional lighting. I've got it on a stand @ the minute and I'm moving it around the back garden pointing at the house until I decide where to fix. It lights up the back of my house which is 50ft wide, no need to put the kitchen lights on!. The lamp is strong and heavy, I bought an extra 5m cable just to give me a greater option where to fix the solar panel. Happy with this purchase I hope it's as bright this time next year.

0 | 0 This is the second light I have purchased the first one is in France I have had it there for 5 years now with the settings on automatic so I have not needed to use the remote it is still going strong the second light was to put in another location to light up a gazebo area where I wish to use the remote to turn on and off , for the light out put and the time of illumination all connected to a remote on/off you cannot assemble a unit yourself for this price with voucher ode, I would highly recommend this unit to and one that needs to light an area dawn to dusk or who want to control with remote , for a stand alone item this is worth every penny , all parts are well made and the cable length is great for most situations.

Love having the remote..it even works inside the house! Eventually it will be mounted on our new summerhouse when that is installed in the summer. Very pleased with this product so far. I just hope it last a little longer than our pathway solar lights!

Works a treat - just switch it on from the roadside while still in the car, reverse in, then switch it off from inside the house while standing next to the window. 1 | 0 I bought 2 of these lights to light up my barn which contains 2 stables, it is bright enough to light the whole lot with just the 2 of them. It does seem slightly cheaper in quality than what's gone before it as I used to have one of those before it broke but I am going to hope that it lasts as long. It has a moveable head which also means you can position it to get more use out of the light which you could not do with the last one. Only had this light a short time but so far so good!

2 | 0 I recently purchased an EVO SMD Remote Controlled Solar Floodlight from The Solar Centre and was so pleased with the quality and robustness of the product that I decided to order another one. The remote control is fantastic. I had been thinking for quite a while that we needed some sort of light in a dark passageway but was reluctant to start all the work entailed in wiring it. The solar power and remote made it so easy for me to fit and now we have light in the passageway at the touch of a button or I can leave it switched on and it will turn on at dusk and off again at dawn if the charge last that long. I am highly delighted with this product.

2 | 0 Perfect! We needed to light an area where our little chihuahua goes to the toilet. We didn't want the bother of running electricity to that area and this was the perfect solution. So quick and easy to install and does exactly what we wanted with no fuss. It lights up very brightly for a solar powered light. The bonus is the remote, it can be turned on before we even go outside, so no tripping over things in the dark! It will be really nice to have on permanently when we get some lovely warm summer nights too. Like I said earlier........Perfect!

2 | 0 Quality product, feels solidly made. Easy to install with basic DIY skills and a decent drill and step ladders. Enough cable to put light where needed and solar panel in a position of choice. The bonus is the remote, actually works from inside my flat, through double glazing, and a good 70 metres from the actual light. The light does cover a decent area, but not as bright as I expected, but it does stay on all night, so solar panel does its job, and of course can be put on and off with remote to save power if needed. Only been up few days, in Scottish weather, but all good so far.

9 | 0 used this to illuminate a corner of the garden where I have no mains elec. available. with the panel fixed to a south-facing fence I am already getting 2-3 hours of good warm light extending about 6-8 metres by 4-5 meters wide. So come summer I expect really good performance & the remote will enable me to save power when the light is not required. well-made, good performance, good value.

I think it would be good if you could pair additional remotes as we plan to use it in the car to light our driveway as we live in the middle of nowhere. Also think an option to be able to mains charge would guarantee good lighting through winter. Just suggestions otherwise good light unit.

I use it when needed rather than as a dusk till dawn security light, turning it on and off via the remote control which functions very well, works brilliantly. 3 | 0 Have bought two of these now - I was initially worried that it would be too bright, but it's ok for lighting up a patio area or similar (maybe it gets brighter still if we ever see sunlight again!!!!). Good product, easy to install but make sure you read the troubleshooting pages - my second one had the lux sensor positioned in such a way as to pick up light from elsewhere and prevent the light from working (had me puzzled for a while), but aftersales was really good with the query that I made, and it was soon solved. No complaints, I'm a happy customer :)

I'm going to move the light and search for something else as it's not the colour of light that I'd want to sit under with friends during the summer evening.

1 | 0 Bought one, which although quite bright, gave more of a general lighting and did not really pick out a point which I hoped to highlight in the garden. This was solved by getting another, also centred on the area and has now achieved the desired effect, besides gently lighting the rest of quite a large ornamental duckpond . The pond is over 30 feet long by about 15 feet wide, and it now looks quite magical after dark, with a variety of birds swimming, diving and feeding on insects attracted by the lights. Should also cut down the number of mosquitos that are a real nuisance in summer! Remote control is a brilliant idea, and works surprisingly well from a good distance. Delivery excellent, especially one ordered for next day delivery. I was informed exactly when it would arrive and it turned up right on time. So far, excellent products, delivery and service. 1 | 0 I have had this Evo solar floodlight working for approximately one week now and I have to say that it's performance is simply staggering and my wife and myself could not be more pleased. This was the first time we had purchased anything from the Solar Centre and therefore we were somewhat concerned as to how delivery and installation would go. However, the delivery could not be faulted in any way as I was able to track the consignment to the point of meeting the driver as he arrived at the door. The light was very well packaged and on unboxing all the components were there and listed for identification. I am no great handyman but even for me the installation was easy and straightforward. Anyone installing this light will find that removal of the bracket which attaches the light to the wall is preferable for easy access to the pre drilled location holes on the on the rear of the bracket. Therefore, a 10 centimetre spanner or socket wrench will be necessary to accommodate the removal and reattachment of the bracket to the light. The solar panel was very easy to install without any problems whatsoever. It was a very grey February day when we installed the light which was completed around 1 pm. Therefore the floodlight got no more than three and a half hours of rather dull daylight before darkness fell. we were therefore amazed when the light sprung into action around 5 p.m illuminating very brightly our entire rear patio, fish pond and trees at the end of our medium sized rear garden. We let it stay on for around 20 minutes before switching it off to allow it the full recommended hours of charge the following day. Since insulation we have had a few days of good sunshine and the floodlight performs superbly. We have allowed it to stay on for up to 4 hours before switching it off and there is no dimming of brightness throughout that period. The remote control will switch the light on and off from inside the house which is excellent. However, perhaps the best thing in regards to the light is that you can take the remote control with you when you go out on an evening and switch the light on from the car as you enter the drive “great” We have never had much time for movement detection security lights as when we are sat out there on an evening in the summer they keep going on and off each time anyone moves. This floodlight light is a superb alternative and I will be ordering further ones for the side front gardens in the next few weeks.

9 | 0 Excellent light. New version of two we already have as outside lights for stables. This one to supplement existing internal lights. Remote control makes operation very easy.
