Edinburgh Festoon Solar Lights Been looking for the right lights for my garden for a while then came across Solar Centre, I have to say they are the best I've seen yet, they are really bright for solar and give off a lovely warm glow with the benefit of 3 light settings. Easy to fit with loops on each bulb. I had a small issue with the solar panel but one email to customer services it was sorted and I received the replacement the next day from despatch, that's what I call customer service. Really liked the quality of these lights. Not really used them much. One comment I do have is they only come on when Switched on AND It's Dark. A sensor detects how dark it is. You can fool the sensor by a cover to have them on when you want them on. Perfect when it's gloomy.

Took several months to arrive (advised at time of purchases) but worth the wait. Look fantastic, classic and ‘basic' looking in a chic way. Love that there are different levels of light available, including ‘off', and a good long lead to the solar panel. Lights worked as advised in instructions after 3 days of charging while turned off. Sceptical if they'll get enough charge to work much daily in winter here in north ( a doorway wall light from this website doesn't...) but as these are mainly for great summer evening ambience I don't regret the purchase or the wait. These are latest in succession of solar fairy lights by reputable brands- these expensive compared to other brands and I dithered about moving up to plug-in or solar. They do look good quality materials and throw plenty of warm glow light. At this price and in these times I look for longevity so half star off because the bulbs and panel aren't available as spare parts and the mixed material will be hard to recycle. Standard fittings on cable to panel so it might be replaceable when inevitable time comes? Nevertheless will certainly consider another set.

The lights look wonderful and give a lovely warm glow with 3 lighting levels. However, the first set had one faulty bulb, Solar centre quickly sent out a replacement but this set had a faulty switch on the solar panel. By combining the two sets I do have a working set and no problems with the solar centre dealing with the fault. So whilst I love them I am concerned on the build quality.

These lights give out a good amount of brightness and would easily fool some into thinking they were plugged in. Nicely designed lights and can be dimmed down if needed. I've used them for around 4 hours before switching off after an initial USB charge. I would have preferred to mount the solar panel high to get extra sun but then I wouldn't have access to the switch and prefer to switch them off manually, maybe future sets could have a remote switch? Highly recommended.
