I bought 4 of these lights and set them among or plants and rockery. They cast an amazing glow over our garden I've even switched of our mains light at night now. They look and feel high quality unlike most I've seen in garden centres. They last long into the night even on gloomy days. The extra adjustable solar panel is genius.

Excellent , but ...... Verified Purchase
Gives out a good light even on power saving mode. Appears to charge up well considering the low light levels in January. But in my installation which is the entrance to my drive, the lights switch off with the light from the car's head and reversing lights. Needs a built in timer to stop this happening.

I sent them back but nothing other than to exchange for the bigger brothers I had already bought. We have been impressed enough to add four lights in turn they have impressed family who have ordered or about too as well. Just a word of advise on teturns. I was told they will be inspected on return before acceptance. The fact they are for exchange and not refund Is something I have not experienced from a retailer. Second you will incur return postage costs so make sure you research well before purchase.

Great alternative to mains lighting Verified Purchase
This is the third order of these lights for various spots in our garden, they are great. Provide effective lighting even on a dull or winter's day. This was our temporary option until we could install electricity to our garden but we don't plan to anymore as these do the job just as well. Would highly recommend.

Well-designed little post light. Love the lift up extra panel especially good for catching low winter sun. Clever use of one little LED by mirror reflector and diffusion through white plastic. Has come on most evenings so far, apart from after one very overcast day. Kodiak is the Solarcentre's own brand and will no doubt become to path lighting what Lumify is to fairy lights.
