I have now bought 2 sets of these lights. Although I was initially put off by the price they really are worth paying extra for. I charged them both with the USB on arrival and they have been working fine ever since. It is now 10pm at the end of October and these two sets of lights are still well lit when every other solar light in the garden has gone off ages ago. Can't recommend highly enough

3 | 1 I have had a set of these lights for 3 years now and they are still as good as the first day. I have them on a north facing balcony which gets no direct sunlight at any time of year. These lights work great and only need supplemental charging during the depth of winter and then, only once every fortnight. Best lights I have had. Love them.

2 | 1 This is the 2nd set of these lights and we were so pleased with the first set that we decided to do away with our electric set to cut down on electricity as we leave them on over winter. The first set I charged the battery just once in March and they are still working on that charge and sun of course. Also have bought lights for outside garage doors and they have been excellent would recommend this company for Solar Lighting.

1 | 0 I am delighted with these Christmas lights! Arrived swiftly and easy to set up. Rather short of solar energy at this time of year, I have boosted these up a couple of times and simple to do. I love the full power lights and think the fabulous jewel colours are super and unusual. They bring a real sparkle to our drive at night adorning a small tree, best order more for a larger tree or shrub. Also ordered a set of warm white for our trellis and equally happy. Excellent quality I trust will last.

0 | 0 Wanted some sustainable Christmas cheer with these lights, to be long lasting with replacement parts. Delighted with them. It's fun going through the different modes, found one that seems to combine all the others - would help if there was a description. Would also like to know power consumption please solar charger has kept them on for the evening. At present they are in the porch, lighting wreath and christmas trees, but certainly looks well made and sturdy enough to be outside. I trust they will last for many years

0 | 0 Both myself and my husband wanted to put a bit of colour into our front garden and I found these lights. They are perfect as they state that they can be left out in any weather and are easy to charge by USB, which I've done. They might be more expensive than some, but you get what you pay for and these are certainly worth the cost. It's great to put a bit of colour into the darker evenings. :-)

4 | 0 Bought these to light up the gazebo I'm having installed soon, charged them up via the mains as instructed and tested them over the first week of purchase , firstly, outdoors for a couple of days then indoors, strung over the summerhouse rafters....they just won't go out lol! These are easily the best fairy lights I have had the pleasure to use, the supplied solar panel is easy to place and is maintaining the charge still even though it's been raining and cloudy every day...cant wait to get them hung properly outdoors , and have no hesitation in recommending these ....far better quality than anything I've owned in the past....

On lifting the solar panel out the box, I could feel and see the quality was superb. I have now installed these and been very happy with them. Both sets come on at excactly the same time, that shows the precision build of them. I highly recommend these, and the fact that they can be charged by USB and run for 8 hrs is a bonus.

You pay a fair bit more for these, but at the end of the day, they should last for years because the battery is enclosed in a waterproof container. Also has the option of USB charging point in case of poor sunlight. All round, a very good system, which should keep the fairy lights brightly lit through all four seasons. So far, very pleased with them!

Multicoloured lights over the gateway to the patio in our back garden really adds to the whole effect, making it look really welcoming. I'm really pleased with my purchase! 0 | 0 I'm sitting here on New Year's Eve looking at these beautiful lights shining in our garden. The string of 100 seemed a lot of bulbs and really makes an impact in the garden, my kids are delighted with the brilliance of the colours. The instructions were easy to follow and they charged quickly by USB. We've had them on every night for the past week and not needed to charge them again and there's been a fair bit of rain and sleet. The battery pack is well made and the solar panel looks to be good quality. The LED's even look pretty on the tree in the day, like little raindrops. I've wanted solar powered lights for ages and these are fantastic. I'm going to buy more in white for the summer.

Work perfectly, charge efficiently and now I have a bright & pretty but discrete string of lights in the wisteria at the front of the house for the festive season. My house is south facing so even in the gloomy weather the solar panel provides a good charge for lights all night. Would definitely recommend.

In this case it is excellent even on dull days, as we are having at the moment, the lights stay on all night (and yes they don't turn off after 8 hours as advertised). Excellent company to deal with and would definitely recommend this product (Lumify).

0 | 0 I've tried several types of "battery powered" lights and these are way and above the best. Having said this - the others were absolute rubbish! My only gripe is that they DO NOT switch off after 8 hours. Mine stay on all night - some 12/14 hours! This isn't a MAJOR problem per se, but it does drain the battery more than it might otherwise do. The system is well made and quite sturdy. I have toyed with the idea of getting a spare 'backup' battery but am not keen on the cost. Can't give 5 stars because of this little glitch but - yes; I think I would recommend them.

They are very good, nice and bright even this time of the year and last until early hours of the morning. My only gripe is the lack of choice of colours, I really wanted blue USB chargable lights, but there was only a choice of white or multicoloured....

0 | 0 With only 7 hours of light, SolarLights have worked well - Power save mode 3 weeks, full mode 2 weeks before recharge required. I've purchased both the coloured and warm white - each has the same impressive brightness with the powersave mode my preference in Warm White. You will find non-usb, non Lithium battery strings for about 2/3 the price - do yourself a favour - these are worth the difference (I am not affiliated to SolarCentre, and do not have shares in SolarCentre, and am not a tester!).

Our order arrived promptly and yesterday we installed them in a holly tree outside our house. We were very pleased with the appearance and they were visible from way down the road. My only regret is that we did not purchase the the larger pack. The 100 pack is not really enough, but having said that we are still happy - We might purchase a further set for next Christmas.. The waterproof battery unit is well made and seems wery rugged as is the solar panel. It is raining today so I will soon know how waterproof the saolar panel is - I feel optimistic! Many thanks

These are the best solar lights I have ever bought, the solar panel is of excellent quality and comes with a garden stake or screw fitting for walls and posts, so you can place it in the perfect position. My only comments would be that they are a tiny bit fiddly to turn off entirely, but that's because the switch is protected against rain. Also the twinkle/flash settings are a bit too frantic and harsh for me, but most lights like this are. They are good on the steady "on" setting and powersave mode.

We saw the Lumify lights in a magazine, ordered them and are sp glad we did. They are beautiful. The delivery was fast and they were well packaged. Have opened the box to look at the lights and the bulb size is quite small, whereas on the picture the bulbs look bigger. Here's hoping that the lights will be as bright as shown in the picture!

0 | 4 I received the lights very quickly and had excellent communication with the courier company used. The lights are fab and do exactly what is described on the website. I charged them up through the USB before putting them up outside. The lights are very well made and it is clear to see the difference between these and cheap brands! I brought a set for half the price of these last year from Argos and they only lasted the 12 months!! I did not want to waste any more money and decided to do a bit of research to find a decent quality set for a reasonable price, I came across these and decided to purchase - I am not disappointed and highly recommend these lights.

They are still shining when i go to bed so are working for at least 5 hours each night . I have put them on power-saver mode but they are bright enough and look lovely. Simple to put together, they do need and initial charge but this ensures they work so don't skip it. Would highly recomend these lights
