Bought 2 of these rope lights to line our garden path. We live in Fife (Scotland), it is nearly the end of the year, our garden is mostly in shade, as the sun does not get over the neighbours roofline after the clocks change and I am SO impressed! The weather has been pretty dull, no bright winter days to speak of, and the lights come on about 4pm running on the winter setting. I have been to the bathroom at 3am and still seen some light out along the path. I was not expecting them to be able to shine for so long in winter. I am 100% confident that these lights really can work all through the year.

26 | 1 I'd always been wary of solar garden lights however I have used these outside for 18 months, they are excellent give light daily through the winter too. I've used the USB charge once when I very first charged up. Would 100% recommend. Great pleasure to buy something that actually does what it says on the box.

36 | 0 I absolutely love these lights…been buying them for several years. I am moving 2 sets of my 100s for 1 set of my 300s. I am using the 100s on 2 smaller plants and the 300 set on my hedge. They all look amazing!!!! I leave the lights on all year round using the removable USB tube. My garden looks like “fairy land.†I receive lots of positive comments from my neighbours. 18 | 0 This is my third set of these lights - not that the others have given up, far from it, they are still going strong. I'm just greedy! What I particularly like is the ability to tone them down. I find some LED's too bright. You can lower these and that means they will also stay on longer. My first set of these lights are now three years+ old. They last. Well worth the money.

I already have 2 sets lumify x100 solar lights in another part of the garden. I have used these for about 3 years. 1 | 1 These lights are excellent. We have them on our pergola to give lighting for our seating area in the evenings, and they work perfectly for this. We had a few issues getting our first set to work, and Customer Service (Aminah) were excellent in helping us resolve this - emails were responded to very quickly, first with some tests to try to identify the issue and then sending a replacement set. We now have them working perfectly and wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

If I am correct I will be pleased my having spent a lot more money than I would do normally when buying the 'cheapies' from supermarkets and DIY stores, etc. It is early days but they seem to be working well, they do everything you state that they do and I hope that the 'shelf life' will be a good one and not like the 'cheapies' referred to above which 'die' after the first season. I would like to write a special word of thanks to and praise of your representative Sarah (from Tenerife) who was very helpful when we had a problem with our DPD delivery. She sorted out our problem most professionally and with a delightfully helpful and understanding manner.

I had two problems (both my own fault) and the team at Solar Centre guided me through fixing these, which included sending a small replacement part through the post the very next day. 2 | 1 We ordered 2 sets of the Lumify USB solar fairy lights. We had to wait a little while due to a backlog or orders on account of covid. Once they had arrived, we charged them via USB cable as recommended. There was a delay in putting them up as we were painting fences, however today was the day. We spent a little bit of time in selecting the best place for the solar panels, and attached them to near to the top of the fence. We worked together with my husband tapping in the pins to secure them to the fence, whilst I held the lights, so neither of us trod on the bulbs. The instructions were easy to follow and the lights are well made. Night time has arrived, and they look beautiful. We hope to have many years of enjoyment from them.

The solar panels must be placed in full light otherwise you end up having to recharge by USB occasionally. Great length of cable and arrived fairly swiftly.

1 | 0 I ordered two sets of Lumify Warm White lights plus two sets of Elan coloured festoon lights and a set of multicoloured Lumify 100 leds to decorate two large conifers and a smaller one around our large pond and make them into outdoor Christmas trees. They're a great way to get Christmas lighting into places where you can't reach mains power. I've just put them all up tonight and I'm sitting here slightly overwhelmed at how stunning it all looks. The reflections in the water are just gorgeous. Could not have done it without solar lights this good.

1 | 0 Having spent lots of money previously on cheap inferior lights, i came across the Solar Centre and was very impressed with reviews, and decided to pay the extra and buy 3 x 300 string lumify fairy lights plus the solar posts 2 x london posts. I'm thrilled !!! There is no comparison to cheaper brands, these lights are so bright, and very clever in design so the water cannot get into the mechanics. We recently had a BBQ for my husbands 60th, and a small amount of friends shared with us, i was delighted when it became dark, and the fairy lights lit up, everyone ooohhed, everyone was so impressed. I had a problem with the one set, but that was remedied incredibly quickly by the knowledgeable and very friendly customer service, Ellie & Maisie . I'm very impressed with the fantastic service from start through to end, and the product is just brilliant. Buy it, you won't be disappointed.

In this case I am not disappointed the company was very professional , good service and the lights are excellent ,I couldn't be happier with them. They are more expensive but considerably better than other solar lights I have had and the lighting is much brighter . I have strung them over my pagoda to make a canopy of lights they look great. Don't know how long they will last but look good quality .would recommend

6 | 0 Compared to cheaper lights we have owned from other vendors, these are in a league of their own. The solar panel is substantial and has been installed aloft our pergola arch. I charged the battery via the USB port before installation whilst we draped the lights over the pergola. They came on at dusk and the warm lights are perfect. The overall effect is mind blowing. We erected the arch for our wedding in 3 weeks and these lights are the perfect solution. I can't recommend them enough.

The Lumify sets 2m cables between the charger to usb then same to first light helped me set them up easily. Any time I want to charge usb it will take me 1mins to unscrew and bring in. Lights look fantastic.

We bought the second set to wrap around our Christmas Tree and they look fabulous. There are so many tiny bulbs. They will go out into the garden after Christmas and come in next year. The Solar Centre lights do "what it says on the tin." Thank you.

4 | 0 Had a mixed bunch of solar light 'experiences' in the past, mostly cheap eBay rubbish that failed within months. These Lumify lights are a different class - excellent quality and finish, high performance dusk to dawn lighting. Solar recharge is superb, even high capacity cells are topped up quickly in strong sunlight. The only unknown is how they stand up to bad weather/water ingress - to be continued and I've knocked off half a star for the sake of objectivity.

When we light some tea lights on the table in front of the hedge, the effect is magical. Your service has always been reliable as are every set of lights we have bought from you. Always happy to recommend a good product, and from what we've seen so far, Lumify is well worth that recommendation. These are lights are not your usual weedy solar lights, the ones we have are as good as/better than mains powered.

I did have one tube which didn't charge but The Solar Centre provided excellent customer service and replaced the tube quickly with zero hassle. They stay on for a long time even in bad weather conditions. I am so pleased they have several settings as I enjoy change. My neighbors comment on how wonderful they look, hence my 3rd Set, so I have decided to leave them up all year round, they give a lovely soft light to the area. Also, I must say how helpful Suzie and David are. It is a great company to buy from. Fantastic customer service. Very professional and reliable. I would most definitely recommend them.

I have my own set of 300 warm white and they have transformed my little back yard. Really beautiful. As in previous reviews, I would love to be able to have a set of 300 coloured too. Come on Lumify, please get cracking on that. p.s one of my sets was a little dodgy and this company sent another bulb set out in 5 days. Brilliant customer service.

We put up last week using cable clips, mounted the solar panel high on the wall and gave the battery a charge for 4-5 hours. They have been on every night, as bright as the first night and keeping themselves charged even though the evenings are drawing in. Excellent product. Would be nice to have the option of colour lights on the 330 string and clear wire rather than green but perhaps in the future?

Due to my garden layout, the best place for the solar panel was a down pipe, so I opted to use tie wraps looped through the wallmount bracket, it worked a treat. Now have them secured along the back of the house and, wooden fencing, they look wonderful. Did not bother playing about with the modes, as I prefer that they are simply on. Looking forward t getting the vintage ones too when they come in stock.

The lights look good around the plants and along the balcony railing. The only suggestion I could make if the selection of programme could be a little clearer so that it was easier to know which function was selected. Other than that, the instructions are clear and concise. These are the best solar lights that I have bought. Certainly pays spending the extra. I have no hesitation in recommending these lights.

I wish I had purchased the white light and not the warm white as I think it might make more impact. For winter light I'am surprised that they charge as well as they do with only a couple of hours at the most when the sun is shining.

The only negative thing I will say is I feel the packaging could be better. Before opening up my parcel everything was rattling around inside and I feared broken parts. Fortunately, this was not the case but I would have thought the individual parts would have been bagged or boxed within the outer box. I also ordered spotlights and these were very well packaged / protected.

4 | 0 These arrived promptly and after charging them up using the usb connection I draped them along my fence, placed the solar panel on top of a south facing wall, and they have worked brilliantly all over the Christmas period. I took the chance while out on New Year's Eve to check that they were still lit well after midnight. These are great solar lights and I have used Lumify lights before and been very pleased with them. The ability to take the battery to be charged inside without disturbing the lights is very useful, though so far not needed.

5 | 0 Put these lights up on our long Conifer hedge which runs down the drive beginning of December. Also placed on them the dragon flies. They look really good and have worked every day, although for a couple of nights they went off after a couple of hours. Easily sorted - charged them up on the USB port and away they went. Not enough day light I assume. Will buy some more nearer to Xmas next year without a doubt. May be they will be selling multi coloured lights of the same length by then

Considering its winter and the days have been short and very dull, they seem to charge up brilliantly and maintain a really good brightness. Not sure exactly how long they stay lit for but guessing it must be at least 5 hours....well after we've turned in for the night anyway! Tried a few 'cheap' solar lights in the past and there is no comparison. Well worth paying the premium on these lights for the quality. The only negative is that they could do with being a little brighter...(especially when compared to the neighbours wired-in lights) Thumbs up, recommended!

I underestimated how many lights I would need for an outside tree, bought 300 lights, then another 300 and the tree could easily have taken 1000 lights, but that was just my own inexperience.

3 | 0 Very pleased with this purchase. I've bought solar fairy lights from Solar Centre previously and these are significantly better. The fact that the solar panel is on a ball joint really helps when positioning the panel. Also the cylinder power pack with concealed switches is new. Also, having two light settings i.e. full power and reduced power is good. Most nights we're happy with the reduced setting, but when guests come over we like the full setting. The only down side is that we've purchased two 300 sets, but even for our small cherry tree this isn't enough.

5 | 0 Probably the best product of its kind on the market. Good design and seems to be of a good build quality. The warm white really is a warm white. Really like the power saving idea of only running for 8 hours but would have quite liked a bit of configuration here as, for example, that takes them from dusk to dawn in the summer and in autumn and spring to way after midnight. Have only used them during summer so it will be interesting to see how well they cope with the shorter darker days. There is always the reduced brightness mode to fall back on and they are adequately bright when set like that.

5 | 0 Bought two lots of these and 1 lot of the 100 LEDs. Very impressed with the warm white colour; just like incandescent light. Really like the concept of being able to replace the battery easily. My only suggestion for improvement would be to have a bit more power to drive the 300s. The 100s are a bit brighter.

3 | 0 Bought these for the summer nights and not disappointed. Perfect for under the gazebo and along the fence. Instructions said that once charged via USB the light should go green. Left it on for over 8hrs hours and still red but lights working fine so I assume all is well. Would recommend the these lights because you can leave them in place and recharge the battery indoors so will be perfect for christmas also.

Initially I considered returning them as even when fully charged they only appeared to last one night without recharging but then we changed the setting to the middle setting and we have had no problems with them at all since. They really do light up the garden really well and one of our neighbours even complimented us on them. I would definitely consider sending for another set of lights. Had no problems ordering them and they were delivered really promptly will clear instructions on how to return if there was a problem . Would definitely recommend this company !

We put them up in our summerhouse as there's no power supply and they give off a really lovely light. Fixing the solar panel was easy and the whole set up of 300 lights took about 15 minutes. They arrived promptly and we'll wrapped and I'm a very happy customer.

After having called and spoke with a lady by the name of Suzie all was rectified and I actually received the missing items the following day. I researched quality solar lights on the Internet and came across the solar centre. I was attracted to the Lumify set as it has the ability to use both solar power and can be charged via USB cable. The instructions were very easy to follow, and after charging the battery via USB as recommended, I was not disappointed at dusk when the fairy lights came on - and they have come on every night since! They give off a lovely glow and I would most definitely recommend this product.

I set it to the power saving mode which is very adequate and I'm absolutely delighted with them. 3 | 0 This is a quality product. Expensive but easily the most superior outdoor lights I've ever used. You really do get what you pay for. If I had to pick one tiny negative, it would be to request an over-ride feature to turn them on before dusk. They seem to come on when it's very dark and I would ideally like to turn them on as the sun starts to go down. However, that is perhaps more a suggestion for the manufacturer than a complaint.

To the best of my knowledge we haven't had other similar comments but if you ever did need them to come on earlier you can cover the panel to simulate night time and get them going earlier - just remember to uncover the panel the next day!

1 | 0 Really good product- was missing the screw on cap for the battery to make it waterproof though . Phoned up customer services and they said they would send me it asap . Other than that would give it 5 stars.
