I have two sets of these lights and I'm extremely happy with them. They sty alight most of the night even when the days are dull. Also another good point is that should you damage the string of lights spares are readily available.

0 | 0 Competent and robust design. No hiccups at all with installing these over my garden shed windows and into the shrubbery. I charged by usb mains adaptor initially as recommended and they have been running OK for three days now in mediocre English sunshine. I installed the control tube in the shed with the cables passing out through a small drilled hole. In a year or so when the battery konks out it is easily replaceable. The instructions are unusually clear, comprehensive and written in natural English. I recommend reading them, men, before you start! It's early days but I have a rare confidence in this product.

0 | 0 I'm really pleased with these lights, though I can't assess how long they would run on solar in the winter because some creature ate through the wire! If you buy, I suggest putting the panel out of reach! If you want to put the lights in a tree, I suggest the 300 light version because I found the 100 light one is a bit short for a medium sized tree.

The lights have the usb charge facility but we haven't yet had to use it - the lights come on every night on full power (we as of yet haven't used the handy power save mode). I would thoroughly recommend them.

2 | 0 I have two sets of these fairy lights, and they have gone through the winter in West Yorkshire with absolutely no problems, come on at dusk and continue to shine long after we have gone to bed. Haven't had to charge them manually since the first charge out of the box, so the solar charger is working very well.

1 | 0 We had a problem initially with our lights only staying on for short periods of time but one email later a new tube was couriered out to us the next day to solve the faulty timer issue and now really happy with our purchase. The lights last for a week on full power on one usb charge in the depths of winter and we have just changed to the power saving mode - looks pretty much the same brightness to me anyway - which it says lasts twice as long. Would recommend the lights to anyone wanting to use solar lights in the winter and the solar centre for resolving the initial issue with them quickly and easily.

I was hoping to buy some more just now but unfortunately have left it to late! will definately buy more in the future, a very good product and as they're solar powered no worries about trailing cables. Very helpful that they can also be easily recharged indoors by simply removing the power pack for a boost here in the Scottish Highlands!

What attracted me to the Solarcentre was that they specialise in solar lights only so must live and die by the quality of their products. The quality of the Lumify range is exceptional and designed to take all the hardship of an Irish or British summer. I would like to see more videos of each product as it helps give you a better idea of the product. I will be buying more lights soon. The lights look very well made unlike so many other brands. I love the fact that the battery can be charged via usb if need be. The solar panel is larger than most brands and watertight as is the battery holder. Can't wait to put them on my new fence. Going to purchase a wall lantern as soon as I have saved up enough for it. I like the fact you can preserve energy by reducing the intensity of the lights and also the fact the pack can be removed and charged independently. So far I cannot complain, on the higher setting they are brighter than others that I have had in the past.

I've had them on the eco setting which is bright enough for me as they're just outside a window and even with very little direct sunlight they've lasted all through Christmas without needing a top-up charge. They're more blue than white but are very pretty nevertheless. I'm very tempted to get some of the other solar lights for the summer...

2 | 0 Just bought a second string, (I've had the others about 3 years) I have tried other, cheaper solar fairy lights in the past and none come anywhere near these. We've hardly seen the sun since I put both lots out, yet they're lit up from the second it goes dark to well past my bedtime. Well worth the money! The only complaint I've got is that the solar panel could do with a clamp at the ball joint as the wind keeps flattening it.

1 | 0 I've bought some rubbish in my time, wasting tons of money so I decided to take a gamble and splash out the 35 quid which I thought was a bit expensive but once I'd charged the battery via the usb for 4 hours and waited for it to get dark I must say I was ( and still am) amazed. It's winter still and the solar panel only gets about 4 hours direct sunlight but after a week I still haven't had to usb charge to top it up. The lights look great and stay on from dusk for a good eight hours each night. Will definitely buy some more and recommend highly!

0 | 0 After enduring cheap lighting for a short time with LEDs burning out, these are a marvellous quality that should last much longer. The best design is the separate control box which can be used, outside with the very large solar panel, or indoors connected to a separate USB charger. The varying light patterns give total control of fairy lights that delight in every way. Cannot fault them in any way.

1 | 0 Overall quality excellent . The separation of the solar panel from the LEDS via a mini control box incorporating the rechargeable battery is really useful. It means I can switch the system off when needed without climbing 6' to access the on/off switch which in most models is fitted to the rear of the solar panel. Biggest LIMITATION is the distance from the panel to the first light - too short. An optional purchase of an extension lead of say 10 meters would make a huge difference. I would like to use lights in other locations in the garden but can't as there is only one feasible location for the solar panel(s)

Has drawn a number of favourable comments because they are draped along front garden fence. I have never needed to use USB option, although solar panel does face South. Only complaint s lack of option to buy a longer set, but I could just have 2 sets running.

1 | 0 Recently bought four sets of these solar lights (summer 2016) and not disappointed they really are good and work in all types of sunlight .If the sun is bright and visible for a long period of time then they stay on well into the early hours. The other reason for my review is the customer service which I think is simply the BEST I have experienced. Had a problem with one set of lights (not working after a short period of being set up) so contacted The Solar Center and within less than 24 hours a replacement set delivered to the house. That is what I think deserves to be acknowledged and a mention to Suzie Fraser who is quite simply delightful to deal with so keep doing what you are doing to you and the team.

So next year it will have to be back to old fashioned electricity for th e tree in the Carden.

They were easy to charge up and they come on at dusk, staying lit for a good few hours even after a grey December day. I'm sure you can buy cheaper solar lights but these are reliable.

0 | 0 Best lights I have ever bought. When they arrived I wound them around a fence in the garden, not expecting them to light that night, but THEY DID. They come on approx 7.30ish in the evening and are still twinkling at 1.00 am. The battery is easy to access and the different modes change at the press of a button. I am going to buy more of these lights, honestly, they are fantastic. I would also agree with Leslie as I would buy a 200 set too, so come on Lumify, create a 200 set please.

But they are excellent now,: bright, on all evening and very attractive lining the top of our fence. The solar panel looks more substantial than cheaper sets and the battery pack is well sealed. All well worth the higher price than short lived cheapies.

0 | 0 Bought these to replace old (cheaper) ones that had rusted inside the control panel because of water ingress. Have not had the lights long enough yet to see if they stand the test of time and weather. I am very impressed that there are two settings for brightness (energy saver) and the USB charge option is an excellent idea for dull days or winter time. I am impressed that the solar panel is 'a proper one' and hopefully won't go blind (which happens with cheaper solar lights) My only moan is that the distance of wire from solar panel to connector is not long enough and does not give me the option to attach the solar panel to a nearby fence, which I had hoped to do. All in all though I am impressed and am considering buying another set...shame that they aren't in 50s as I have two topiary trees that they would look good on.

But the solar panels, 6' above ground and facing into the sun direction, still take in enough charge to illuminate every night. We have now charged two units via an USB wall-socket adaptor, and the single installation we have set up has twinkled away merrily for two cycles now despite a fair bit of cloud and the solar collector not being located in an ideal position. Delivery was as quick as one could reasonably expect and the design and construction of the unit is of a high standard. However, the first shrub ( Eleagnus)we have tackled is fairly dense and about a cubic metre in volume. In this particular location we now think that either an additional 100-lamp unit or a single 300-lamp unit would create an even more impressive effect.

1 | 0 I received my set of lights the very next day, very pleased with the quality except !!!, I straight away started the charge from the USB to find that the small USB connector to the charger was not making a good contact as the red charge light would not stay on. I phoned Solar center straight away and found a lovely very helpful lady who on confirming with her Manager the problem I was having, I was informed that a new unit was on its way and they were very sorry for the problem, It arrived two days later, this proves to me that I am dealing with a customer focused company who listen to their customers and I would have no hesitation to place another order with the Solar center. by the way the lights are looking fab and still going on every evening even with this terrible weather that we are having without any additional charge. A very good strong product with a large Solar Panel with a ground spike or a wall bracket including screws & wall plugs and spare nuts for the movable angle, well worth paying the extra money. although the unit is sealed I actually place my unit into a jiffy sealed bag for extra protection from the rain. well done the Solar center 10/10 for excellent customer service

The Lumify set looked to be the best yet straight out of the box, and so it has proved through the wildly unsettled summer of 2015. The solar panel is the largest I've had, it's robustly mounted, and all connections are securely waterproof. The power-saving mode is a huge bonus, as my sunniest spot only gets a few hours of direct sunlight at the best of times. I'm very pleased with this product from a supplier whose customer service has been second to none.

1 | 0 Well made lights, substantial battery pack that can be recharged by solar and USB. Have installed them along my garden fence, and they look great when it goes dark. They have 2 settings, hi/lo, and the low setting is more than adequate. I have the 10 metre length of lights, and it is packed with plenty of bulbs - we did consider buying the longer length (30m) and doubling it up along the fence, but we're glad we didn't, as the 10 metre length has plenty of lights on it, with no big gaps between each lights. We feel doubling up would have been too many lights. Would definitely recommend these lights.

1 | 0 up to now the new Lumify lights have been fantastic. I did have to recharge them via the usb lead at first but since then they have been fine but I have only had them 2 weeks. I'm looking forward to see how they behave in the winter

1 | 0 I have been looking around at many suppliers for a set of solar powered LED lights around 10m. The Solar Centre were the only ones that seemed to be able to meet 10m without having 10 sets of 1m with 4m of supply cord each time. On top of this, you have 10 different functions, a backup USB power source and a power saving mode. Apart from one of the lights being slightly misshaped so the mini ball attachment didn't fit, I really can't fault this set over the 2 weeks it's been under our arbour with direct sunlight for half of the day. You have multiple options for fitting the solar panel which is very useful; if only this was possible with the battery/main unit. I fitted mine to the wall with 2 off 1.5" tool clips, which isn't ideal but it works. Add the Mini Ball LED attachments for a slightly larger light spread and appealing look.

3 | 0 After charging the apparatus using the USB option, we set the lights up with the panel on the roof of our wooden shower/compost loo block. It was very straightforward to set everything up and as we run a rural campsite it's pretty dark at night. These Lumify Solar Fairy Lights are bright and really do light the way to our facilities. Very happy with the results so far (one week) and we have had very positive comments from our guests. Excellent product, excellent value-no more cheap fairy lights for us! We will definitely use the Solar Centre as our first port of call in future.

3 | 0 These fairy lights are by far the best I've experienced. On standard setting they are super bright and have lots of stamina! A great product. Now add coloured strings to the range please.

They have taken on board some of my comments when designing Lumify which has tickled me pink. For once I have nothing to add! 10/10!

4 | 0 It's obvious that an awful lot of thought has gone into the design of these lights. I put the tube on USB charge while I installed the solar panel on my shed roof and laid out the light string. A few hours later I took the tube out and connected it up. I like the way the USB charge indicator LED lights up when the panel receives sunlight so you know you've got your panel in a half decent location. I've had a few bits from the Solar Centre over the years, these are by far the best.
