Really love these lights I have purchased 3 sets but also several other ones like festoon lights. They brighten up the garden at night and are of an excellent quality. I won’t buy any where else except solar centre as you get what you pay for .

USB charging was a doddle and they have been on solar charging since then. The length of free cable means that the control tube is located away from the elements and the solar panel has an unobstructed position facing south. Very happy!

1 | 0 I was sick of replacing inadequate solar lights year on year. These are going strong into their 2nd year. I turn them off during winter and put the battery inside. They are bright and the length is perfect to hang in a trail over at least 12 fence panels. I have them on the lowest brightness as I would hate the neighbours to complain to environmental health for light pollution! Best £70 I've spent.🌞

All work successfully every night and don't need charged all that often, even in dull weather. The secret is to locate the solar panels in a sensible location and make sure that the control tube is connected correctly. A first class product.😃

Wired them around my feature palm tree in the garden and they were fine on the first night. The following day, dull, rain, dull, drizzle, dull dull dull. I told my wife that they would not come on, that night because of the January weather, but to my surprise, there they were as soon as it went dark enough. Brilliant! Hardly any sunshine for 8 days and they are still looking great. Will be buying again from Solar Centre

2 | 0 I firstly brought 2 sets of the 100 lights to place on two trees in my garden-so happy with how easy they were to charge and set up that I returned to buy a 300 set for the back of my garden to drape across a fence. My neighbours have noticed how lovely they are and I've since recommended the company to them. I had a set about 3 years ago I brought from John Lewis and they proved very reliable for 2 years until we accidentally cut the wires whilst pruning so I had no hesitation in buying Lumify again having prior to finding the brand brought cheap ones from a garden centre which were a real let down and only lasted 2 months.

New ones look fantastic and tree had outgrown the 100 lights and the new 300 ones are just right for size of tree. Would recomment solarcentre lights to everyone.

Would love to be able to buy a set of these lights in red colour ( Christmas red and white light twinkling ) and a set in blue ( Winter nights blue and white twinkling ) but you unfortunately do not make these, which is a shame, because with your high quality, I am sure there would be a market for them.

2 | 0 These are excellent solar lights and the addition of the USB charging unit is very useful as we were able to charge the lights and put them out on the same day they arrived. The cable is strong and the lights are a crisp white colour. Thanks to the stand that comes with the solar panel we were able to secure it to top of a garden post to ensure it gets the most sunlight. My husband and I are very pleased with these lights and would highly recommend them.

1 | 0 I have just bought my second set of 300 Lumify solar lights. My first set, bought early 2015, are still going strong. Love the fact that you can recharge the battery with a USB port, also you can reduce the brightness in winter in order to increase battery life. I have never needed to purchase new battery. They look wonderful around my patio area and gives a lovely effect draped around trees and bushes around this area. The second set will be added to cover a wider area, one set will be kept static the other set fading in and out gently. I cannot recommend these lights more highly. I also have a spot light fixed above my patio windows, also purchased from Solar Centre and this is also performing well. Cannot recommend these lights more highly, well worth the expenditure.

The solar panel is a joy to affix with a separate little base which can be fixed to horizontal or vertical surfaces and the panel itself has an adjusting wheel to hold it at just the right angle. The capsule holding the batteries is easy to remove in case of usb charging (what a bonus).The colour of these lights is just perfect. Delivery was prompt and packaging good. Really helpful company - I will buy again.

The cable is thicker and more robust than for cheaper products, the solar panel larger, and the switch and re-chargeable battery are contained in a good weather-proof capsule. Throughout the grey days of December the lights have solar-charged without a problem. Delivery was prompt, and in all I am very satisfied

1 | 0 Installed the 300 white LED Lumify Solar Fairy Lights about 10 days ago. Charged fully by USB before first use, which took several hours. Working nicely so far and looking good. Build quality looks good and I like the glass front on the solar panel as plastic ones can go cloudy. The power saving mode is not much dimmer than the normal mode, so have left on this setting for now. Delivery was quick too.

Delivery and customer service by solar centre great but it's the product I am most delighted with. Instructions easy to follow , charged battery when it arrived and since then the lights have twinkled great every night. Ok they are not cheap , but have wasted money on cheap ones in the past. Would definitely recommend and will buy further sets in future. Very happy.

0 | 0 . I would advise buying the 300 light lengths rather than the smaller strings.They work well. I have four sets on a twenty foot tree. If on low setting they last as long as you would normally have these kind of lights on. Even on full light they give many hours which I find satisfactory. I would recommend them. You can forget all the palaver of dangerous extension leads as well

I've had them for a week now and they last for 8 hours before turning off (just as it states in the manual) good connections and build quality, they are expensive, but your getting a excellent product.

0 | 0 Have been enjoying these for a couple of weeks now; they're wrapped around trunk and amongst branches of an ornamental cherry tree. Very happy with the white lights (pleasantly clean & crisp even on low setting) and the 300 string which by no means is too many for the tree size - 100 would not have been enough at all to gain the tree shape I wanted by the lights in the dark. Pleased and impressed also with the speed of delivery from the Solar Centre plus the reduced price at the time that tempted me away from another seller where I saw them first (John Lewis, and they don't sell any old tat!).

The principle of being able to put solar panel in optimum position is most important. Tested on receipt & seemed very bright in garage. yes they are expensive but it's no good buying cheap tack that doesn't cut the mustard the previous solar panel was good and clearly this is upgraded for 300 lights.

1 | 1 Have been using the White 100 set all summer and bought the white 300 set when Solar Centre were running a discount promotiion. Yes they are more expensive than your average supermarket/garden centre/internet sets but I personally have added up that over the last few years I have spent more than the price of these on continually replacing the cheap and mid range price ones, every time hoping i had found 'the ones'. Well now I definitely have. These are the real deal and you will NOT be disappointed. I charged them with the usb when i first received them and they have simply worked wirh sunlight ever since. The solar panel is nestled in my flower border and even with continual heavy rain, all connections have proved to be watertight. We also like that you can turn them off if you want to. We opted for white not warm white wirh both sets just because we prefer a brighter cleaner look and most warm whites are quite yellow which will give a more warm cosy look if thats what you prefer. It's just personal choice. They have transformed are new seating area at the bottom of the garden. Into a magical place to be after dark. I have them in shrubs that are in large containers close to the table and apart from a couple of citronella candles we have no other light down there and it isn't needed either. I must give The Solar Centre 5 stars for being such a fantastic company to deal with too. I have steadily been buying more and more things from them and will continue to do so. Brilliant customer service and brilliant products.

1 | 0 These lights are fabulous! We were inspired to buy them after a recent glamping trip where the tent we were sleeping in had solar powered fairy lights. We loved how that once it went dark they automatically came on. They seem to be working well at the moment and we would thoroughly recommend them.

0 | 1 Early days - I only installed them a few days ago - but I'm very impressed with the 300-light set. They don't throw off enough light to illuminate, say, a dinner table, but they create a lovely warm ambience that creates an attractive background effect. If you can thread them through some foliage it's even better. Yes, they're pricier than most, but they're very well made and I expect them to last for a few years.

0 | 0 We wanted solar fairy lights and had bought cheap at a local discount outlet; about £14 for 300 fairy lights. They worked but on dull days stayed on for no more than 30 minutes after dark. Decided to pay more and buy these and are delighted with the results. Worked straight from the box with good clear instructions. Looking forward to seeing how they perform in Winter but the USB charge option means that we can have lights on whatever the conditions. Wish we had not wasted money on the cheap lights.

0 | 0 The lights, as was the previous set of USB lights I purchased from Lumify, are superb. They are strong even when there has not been so much sun, and the ability to charge them via a usb outlet means my garden will be highly illuminated whatever the season!

0 | 0 We bought these to replace some Cole & Bright string lights that only worked for a few months. These seem much sturdier, more waterproof and a better solar panel. It's also great that you can charge them with the USB to keep them going over the winter. We've only had them up for a week, but so far, they are much brighter and a better colour than previous sets. If they last into next year, we will be very happy!

They have been on every night since then and still look wonderful, even in the winter with the low light levels. I did not hesitate to purchase another set for the new seating area this spring. Well done Solar Centre, these are superb and would recommend anybody who is fed up with having to change on a regular basis to look at your site. We gave them their initial charge, and have now had a display every evening despite the poor weather conditions .Very easy to install and operate.

0 | 0 Delighted! I saw a photo in a garden mag for a Christmas Tree in lights which cost a bomb. So I went looking for something which might do the same job for less & which would not need mains power. This product has worked a treat - the light string is long enough to get a really good tree effect and despite the dull weather, they have stayed bright night after night after the initial charge-up.

0 | 0 I was very pleased with these lights. They have a decent size solar panel and the waterproof battery holder and electronics are well designed. The white lights are good and bright and have a good range of light sequences. The option to charge the battery via a USB cable is an added bonus and allows you to charge the battery if you encounter endless dull grey days. If I was going to be picky - and I am, I would suggest the inclusion of two plastic terminal covers that would fit/connect over the exposed terminals once you have removed the main unit to charge it by USB. As it stands, these terminals are left dangling and exposed to the elements during this period. Still 5 stars though.

I looked for a long time to find a product I could fix to a wall most come with just a spike. The connection wire is well protected so it's easy to see why this product is more likely to last. I may well buy more at a later date

Situated in a windy spot that is exposed to some ferocious weather at times and so far they are surviving extremely well. Having tried many other lights in the past, and been disappointed almost immediately, these could be the answer.

I have only had these for a short time but they seem to be better quality and are working well. They are very bright and seem to charge even when it is cloudy. I was very impressed by the delivery, and it was free, what a bonus. I would definitely recommend this company.

1 | 0 We have had these lights for just 10 days and they are lovely. They panel and control is easy to put up and I like that the control is within a water-tight package. Having previously has other fairy lights that leaked after a year and corroded, preventing them from working, we are hopeful that this design will prove to be far more robust and useful as outdoor lights. We are using them on power saving mode, and they are still bright for many hours through the night. The biggest test will be what they are like with Winter sun, but so far, they are excellent and have withstood torrential rain without any damage.

1 | 0 I had purchased the Lumify 100 previously, which was placed in a hedge in a seating area on our farm. As the hedge was growing it was decided they should be put in a tree, this is when we realised how good they looked and that we would need more. As this is a busy time for farming, they are not yet in situ, but I am sure they will look really good! I would, and have recommended this product.

1 | 0 Brilliant lights, charged originally via the USB which took around 4 hours. Came on at night, really bright and turn off automatically after 8 hours. Brilliant to be able to charge via USB as well as the solar panel especially if you have a party happening. Very good connections with waterproof seals. PERFECT Would recommend to anyone and would buy again if I need more.
