We've had these little lights since the end of last summer. Over the deep winter most of our solar lights only seem to charge up well on really bright days and these seem to be the same. For me though this is fine as the path to the hot tub is used mostly in spring, summer and autumn. It's now February and after a bright couple of days they are shining beautifully when I walk past. The lights were only installed today, in a difficult setting on stone gateposts leading to a long dark drive. One light is east facing, the other west. The narrow sensitivity beam is actually an advantage, based on the test I carried out last night, because I only want the lights to come on when someone enters the drive, not every time someone walks past. Time will tell, but the Wave light near the front door has done very well over the last couple of years. It would be helpful if those nice people at Solarcentre could indicate the approximate range and angle of the various movement activated lights they stock.
