Customer Reviews - Solar PIR Porch Light
We only installed the light 3 days ago so it is still in the charging phase so we have it switched off. I did test it after 1 day of charging it and was extremely impressed with the brightness and light spread that it produced. Does the job perfectly and makes for no more fumbling for the keyhole after dark.

0 | 0 This is the second we've bought of this item. The first worked well for its 2 years or so and delivered good light at our front door. I'd give this one 5 but one of the LED's in the outer circle is dead. Already chucked the packaging so wont be returning. Good service. Prompt delivery.

2 | 0 On delivery the box packet was damaged. A corner was crushed in. I examined the light and solar panel and it appears no damage. How ever the light switches on for 30 seconds and then off for 3 seconds and then back on for another 30 seconds and then repeats the sequence for about 2 hours. I have tried a different position for the light in the porch, and the same sequence occurs. I phoned your help line and I am pleased that a replacement is on the way. May be the damage to the box has upset the microchip in the light. Regards, Roger Whitehouse

0 | 0 Installed in a 10 x 7 windowless shed, I bought one with a view to buying another if not bright enough , absolutely no need this light unit is amazingly bright I mean halogen bright. Quick delivery and simple to install . Perfect

1 | 0 I installed the light in our porch with the panel on the south facing wall outside it and it works like a dream. I was concerned that people walking past on the street after dark might trigger it but that's not a problem. If I had any negatives, and it's only a small one, the plastic clasp that secures the light to the ceiling is very fragile. The screw holes are so close to the edge of the clip that it's very easy to cause the plastic to split when tightening the screws. Perhaps making this clip more robust, or even better out of metal, would fix the problem and this product would fully deserve a 5 star rating.

0 | 0 Early days yet but installation was easy and the light seems to do the job. Will be easier to judge how it performs in autumn/winter when the need for a shed light is greater and daylight hours are shorter. Pleased so far and, by the way, the Solar Centre were good to deal with. Kept me informed and quick destach.

0 | 0 This is a very bright light and very good value for a solar motion light. My only small criticism is the clasp on the back of the light is hard to fit and we managed to snap it as it is plastic. It would be better being made of metal (superglue fixed it)

0 | 0 Received my Solar Pir Porch light installed it and was amazed at how bright it was. Thou I did have to send all the way to the UK for it, it's well worth the money as I have looked here in Toronto Canada for a solar light ,with no luck. Thanks very much for making such a great product. P.S With coming and going early in the morning and a lot of time not returning it after dark its great to have over my dark door to be able to is the key hole ,also to no when I get there the security of it coming on to welcome home.
