Customer Reviews - Solar Square Decking Light
These lights produce a white glow and look super sleek with a low, non trip profile. They do require exact hole cutting into your deck which put me off initially. I take the lights out over the winter months and use (separately purchased) black blanking caps. Before reinstalling them in the Spring, I treat the deck and inside edges of the cut holes to ensure wood protection. The flat profile of the light does lead to rain water pooling each surface. I either wipe or angle the light so allow water to run off. (This can be a trip hazard though, so best done when the kids are at school) Just be sure of placement before you chop holes in your deck.

1 | 0 I Have used these square decking lights for over 5 years now and recently added another one. They have a high quality surface stainless steel surround and fit almost flush with the decking due to the recessed metal frame. A top quality product, very reliable and highly recommended.

1 | 0 No hesitation in recommending these solar lights. I have them installed in my driveway and provided you site them in clear vision of the sun you will have no problems at all. Not suitable for shade

2 | 0 We now have 12 of these lights, bought at different times, and apart from a couple of hiccups they are an excellent buy. The sensor became defunct on one after two years which was a bit of a disappointment, but otherwise they give a good display even in winter.

0 | 0 I have 8 of these decking lights and they are excellent. Extremely well made and with a high quality finish. They light up at dusk and usually stay on until daylight the next morning. The Solar Centre is a most helpful and pleasant company to deal with. I have been ordering items from them for almost 5 years now. Highly recommended !
