I bought this item 2 years ago and have been impressed enough to purchase another recently. Provided that the solar panel is exposed to a good amount of sunlight in the day, it will definitely shine bright at night.

1 | 3 Bought in 2021, this light is so powerful. We haven't got it in a particularly sunny spot BUT It has daylight access 8-3 in winter and lasts until 9/10pm months winters nights (a soft glow after 9pm) but enough to give me a little more security at my main gate. As it comes with a ground stake, it can be put practically anywhere. We have now ordered some post lights from SC so will move this light to act as an uplighter for a tree in our garden. Highly recommended.

1 | 0 I now have four Thea units installed combined with three other solar lights offering good focused mood lighting, battery life is good with careful thought to location of the solar panel in a mix partial sun and limited shade provides effective results. I use 24 volt led lights for a feature area but it is the seven high output solar lights which provide a more subtle atmosphere in highlighting specimen shrubs in most of my fairly large garden, certainly you get what you pay for and I am wholly convinced on the use of quality solar lights without the need for cable based systems, I would highly recommend this product from the Solar Centre.

I purchased my first one quite a few yrs ago and recently purchased 8 more to place on fence posts around the bottom of my garden...the result is stunning. To add, I have purchased many other lights from the solar centre over the yrs, and all perform perfectly many yrs later. Customer service is truly second to none! 0 | 0 This is the 3rd Thea Solar Garden spotlight I have purchased. The previous 2 have been fantastic for our Guest House name signs on the road that passes our place. The position of the signs is too far to economically install electric sign lights and after trying various other solar lights came upon the Thea lights by chance. Once charged they last more than long enough for guests to locate our place. Give a very bright light for roadside traffic to spot our signs. As the solar panel is attached to the light they are neat and compact without all the wiring needed for separate panels. Highly recommended.

It could have been brighter 2) The Solar panel and Light should move around 360 deg independent of each other. I'm not able to place the bulb to my desired direction, as the head is not 360 rotatable. I need to align my bulb same as panel direction which I don't want to. Pls revist the design of the product

These lights are fantastic value for money and the 2 already in brilliantly illuminate one half of our rear garden which we recently had spent a lot of money renovating. The lights highlight the work done and it now looks as good in the dark as it does during daylight. Charged the first 2 for 3 days before switching on and wow,I looked out 9 hours later just before daybreak and they were still as bright. No more pitch blackness in the garden and we have every confidence in these lights during winter months,we look forward to the 2 new additions in action to fully give our garden the wow factor. We would definitely recommend these lights to anyone,first class service as usual from the solar centre as this is now our 3rd purchase from them.

However on reporting the issue to the customer service team and providing photographic evidence the two damaged lights were replaced and I received them the following day which was excellent customer service as far as I'm concerned. I haven't used the lights themselves as yet but I'm hopeful they will prove to be as good as the previous reviews suggest .

I have a south facing garden and can get decent exposure.Three days of charging and the spot came on. It is a little underpowered for my need and it would help to be able to tell which position the on/off switch is in before dark. Otherwise a good product. Looks robust but I guess time will tell. I shall give it a few weeks but I am inclined to buy another. It is not terribly expensive and I love solar gadgets.

You do need to be careful with placement and avoid placing them near other light sources. Will be purchasing some more for my back garden next year.

1 | 0 The company I work for were looking for a resolution to light safety signs for the company car park were an electrical supply was not practical. The Thea Solar spotlights were recommended by the solar-centre and they have worked fine. Mounted above the signs the light is perfect. The only adjustment we made was to rotate the solar panel 180 degrees on the fixing point to get it into the correct position. Great product working well. would recommend.

0 | 0 Wow ordered Tuesday pm arrived wed am. On opening the box all the different fixings are there and the light looks good quality and easy to set up. On checking the batteries they were almost flat so rather than leaving it outside for three days as suggested I fully charged the batteries.The batteries in the unit are 3 times 1500mah, I thought about replacing them with 2400mah batteries to give longer lighting time in winter.As it is February I am getting three to four hours of light from the unit so I am expecting a lot more in summer .happy with product and supplier.

0 | 1 Received my two solar spotlights in good time, but on opening the first box I realised the fittings would not allow me to attach the spotlight to the top of a wall either side of some steps. The wall fitting supplied required the spotlight to be fitted directly to the base mount, meaning it would only be 2" from the wall. That fact is not at all obvious from the web site information. I needed to use one of the supplied extension tubes, but these could only be used with the ground spike provided. I had previously had solar lights on the wall and decided to use the existing base mounts, however the extension tubes were too narrow to fit. Fortunately I have a 3D printer, and I therefore designed and printed an adaptor to fit over the existing base mounting and enable the supplied extension tube to connect to it. The result was a single extension tube fitted to the existing wall mounting, with the solar spotlight on top, and what a cracking combination that turned out to be. The lights are very effective in action, with two of them lighting my whole patio area. Really bright, and they last much longer than the previous solar lights. The fact that the supplied system did not provide what all my previous solar lights have done in terms of fitting where I needed them has dropped one star, but the lights themselves are definitely worth 5 stars. Just check where you intend to site them prior to ordering. In the ground on extension poles is OK, or directly to a vertical or horizontal surface is OK, but if you want to raise them using one or more extension poles above a horizontal surface such as decking or the top of a low wall then the fittings provided will not enable you to do that (unless you have your own 3D printer of course).

0 | 0 These lights work well lighting up the concrete posts between fencing, they're screwed down to the decking on the floor facing up but still charge in the shade and last until approx 3am on a clear day or 11pm on a cloudy day, saves all the hassle of wiring, easy to relocate if need be.

They were extremely simple to assemble and I only switched them on (2) late in the afternoon, expecting they wouldn't work until the following evening. I was delighted to find that after only 2 hours on charge they lit up the whole lawn. I'm extremely pleased with them and would happily recommend them.

Had the hour slot, doorbell rang within time frame, took me 5 seconds to get to door in time to see driver running off ( it was raining!) having thrown sorry I missed you card by front door. Managed to catch him before he drove off, his excuse was there was no light on in hall ( at about 2.30?) and no car outside ( I keep it in garage). My point being that I very nearly had to reorganise delivery, got the email which said delivery attempted, obviously able to ignore it! Not my fault he was in shorts and had no coat on. Thought you ought to know.

What i didn't expect is the power of the beam of light the spotlight gives off, its brilliant for a solar light. The light colour is a bright slightly blue white, i do prefer a warm white colour, but the light itself is great.

The ability to turn the light off but keep the solar panel charging makes it perfect for winter evenings as I use the light only occasionally and so it's always fully charged. Provides more than enough light for a decent sized patio so bring on the Autumn BBQs.

0 | 0 The lights are good but obviously the more sun the better the performance. Shady days leave a dim light. Have bought 7 and the performance differs a bit. Overall very happy with the solar lights. Solar Centre - very good place to buy. Prompt service and good delivery service.

1 | 0 So far so good. I have bought it for use on my narrowboat as a tunnel light. But haven't been through a tunnel with it yet. I have high hopes for it!

0 | 0 this item really puts to bed the stereo type of the useless little dim solar lights of days gone by. Yes i'm sure they are still out there, but not this, its crazy bright, proper replacement for a wired landscape light. Even in Scotland!

1 | 0 I am replacing one of two units which was damaged in winter storms. I have had the spotlight of over two years I find the product extremely good. Still works today as it did brand new Has a powerful beam.

0 | 0 Arrived quickly, well packaged, charged up for the 3 days as per instructions. It's now in the garden in position, works excellent, great light, nice and bright at night. Would recommend it, have had solar lights before that did not really work, hence the saying you pay for what you get.
