This is the second batch of true flame mini solar torch lights I've had from solar centre- they literally exceeded my expectations my last ones lasted 7 yrs . I've had many solar lights of different types from here and WOW they are BLOODY BRILLIANT!!

0 | 0 I love the trueflame mini lights they do look like real dancing flames. I got 3 packs of 2 which is enough for my garden, i would definitely recommend them, in fact i sent a video to my friend who got some for herself.

I subsequently purchased a cheaper one from the local garden centre and the effect is not as good You get what you pay for I'm very satisfied with both the product and customer service at Solar Centre

Alas some parts where missing from the box which was disappointing, so I fired off an email and everything was sorted in no time. The lights are in position, working fine and looking good. 0 | 0 Purchased a set lights on two separate occasions, the flame effect is brilliant however the on/off button on the first set is more positive (click) 10mm diameter, the second set the on/off button is smaller 6mm diameter and the operation is not as positive, difficult to tell whether it has been switched on.

0 | 0 Bought four of these Mini Solar Torches as a Christmas present for my wife - they were so appreciated for their realistic effect I supplemented them with another four. Unfortunately, two of the second batch didn't work, but were replaced immediately by SolarCentre. The substitutes are fine, and all eight lights are charging and displaying even in February. Four stars not five because of quality issues: the switches can be temperamental and two of the stake tubes split slightly when assembling the units, but minor gripes. Looking forward to seeing them in their full glory after a few sunny Spring days.

1 | 0 Got 5 sets of these now (10 torches in all). amazingly realistic flame effect. Don't kow how long they stay illuminated after a a days charge but they are still lit when we go to bed around modnight even in winter so that's all that matters to us. Multifunction button a bit hit and miss sometimes and could do with an instruction leaflet, because unless the button is pressed the correct number of times they don't work. They have light/dark detection, off and 2 brightness settings.

Sadly, living in Cumbria, there has been very little sun since I received them but even so they have lit up every evening, if only briefly! If these were also charged by usb I would purchase several more. I will definitely purchase some of those that are.

9 | 0 Great lights and so lifelike. Bigger than I expected. Shine really well. They are placed in a south facing garden along the entrance to my patio. No wires.... just a spike into the ground. I did not read the operating instructions so on the first night I was very disappointed that there was no light. When I did read them I discovered the operating button on the side and since then no problems. Very atmospheric. Hope they work in the winter . Time will tell.

3 | 2 I bought two packs of these, 4 lights in all. Unfortunately one of the units appeared to be faulty as I wasn't very bright and didn't stay on for long. I emailed the Solar Centre and the suggested moving the location of the faulty light but after I explained that I had charged all four together in the same container prior to placement around the garden they kindly agreed to send a replacement. great customer service. Btw, very pleased with these LED lights, they really do look like a real flame, very impressive indeed.

I reside in Scotland, with not the best of climates, but can assure you even through all the rain and storms the lights are still working and fabby, Needless to say, that I bought another four for my friend as a gift, for her new garden, and again, had the" Wow Factor" comments from her family and friends and likewise. All very quick, efficient and no fuss. Today I was surprised to receive pack of 2 when only 1 of the pair were faulty. Original working lamp very effective. I also have 2x Truro solar down lights (truly excellent) and 2x solar fairy lights (also excellent). Will be purchasing a Solar Centre PIR light sometime soon too. I think they look great (quite Pagan) flaming torches in the darkness! My wife is not so sure. (She'll win & they'll get spread out!) If they continue to perform as they have started they're the best free standing solar lights we've had - and we've had quite a few!

3 | 0 I recently purchased two sets of these solar lights as well as a set of fairy type lights. I was impressed by the speedy delivery, the torches were duly set up in our new flower border at the bottom of our garden and visible from our lounge. Even on the first night the lights worked though one seemed to have a problem, but we loved the effect & how our plants and a statue now looked like she was in the grounds of a stately home. On contacting the company re the faulty torch, it was nice to speak to friendly staff on phone also get helpful emails. The faulty one soon had a replacement pair sent and these are working well. What a great product & a super company.

The effect is very realistic, they certainly give a warm glow to the garden especially among the flower beds. Will be purchasing more in the future, am going to buy some for my daughter in New Zealand!

2 | 0 These look fabulous - a very theatrical addition to the garden. I bought them for a party - but enjoy them all the time. My only comment is that the quality of the small poles the torches are on is a bit hit and miss - some fitted too tightly and some too lose. This was not an insurmountable problem - just need to be careful when placing them in the garden.

2 | 0 I already have several solar lights from this company and all are still working perfectly after several years. I recently bought two of these lights to place in front of our new summerhouse but one failed to work. A new pair were immediately sent out and after charging for two or three nights send out an extremely realistic flame effect for several hours. For winter use, the illumination can be reduced to prolong the light. After initially switching on, my wife went to bed but she came back to check that these were indeed solar lights and that the summerhouse was not on fire! They are that good. I would now like to see a light with this effect with a wall mounting for fixing near to our front door.

They are a wee bit different and we've had a lot of positive comments on them. Easy to put together. Delivery was quicker than expected. 1 | 0 The weather has not been very sunny so the torches are not fully charged yet, when i first tuned them on one last longer before than the other ,but now i am charging them fully as instructed so this is not a fair review,when they lit at first they looked very realistic.so just waiting for a few days and then i will try again.,i have solar powered fairy lights from Solar Centre which are superb so i dont see any reason why the torches dont work as well when fully charged.
