I absolutely love these lanterns.....i have 2 of them & the flame effect is just amazing.....however I need to change the rechargeable battery in one of them now as I have had them for quite awhile & do not know where I can purchase them from as they are much larger than the rechargeable batteries that I usually buy 🤔

0 | 0 We purchased a couple of these based on previous reviews and we weren't disappointed. We have a south facing garden so they get quite a bit of sun and currently stay on until it gets light. However, the option of charging via USB is a good feature. The candle effect emits a warm orangey light.

The effect of several hundred of these being carried around the house grounds by visitors was mesmerising. .Our purchase certainly hasn't disappointed outside of our lounge in the garden. 0 | 0 Having bought some cheaper solar powered garden lanterns which lasted only a few months, I did some research to avoid this issue again. These TruFlame lanterns came highly recommended and they certainly do not disappoint. They are quality and look beautiful in my garden at night. I particularly like the fact there is a USB cable for quick charge if needed. Admittedly they are a more expensive option but you get full VFM with these.

3 | 0 I bought four of these and placed them in our rose garden. We live in Scotland and I was a bit afraid that the lantern wouldn't really work here, but I was wrong. The look very sturdy, made of a good material. They make a very warm and flickering light, and create a lovely atmosphere in the garden. Super recommended!

All have been well made, good quality, give off good light and continue to work long after cheaper lights have given up. When there has been an issue ie a light has stopped working, within the guarantee period, it has been replaced promptly. Overall I have been very pleased with all my lights. If I was able to improve one thing on the lantern it would be to have a steady light mode as an option. The lantern could then be used as a table light too.

0 | 0 One of the four lanterns I bought recently proved to be faulty: although it worked initially after USB-charging, it started behaving sporadically, sometimes coming on in the daytime, sometimes not at all, even after a further top-up via the USB port. Reported the issue to The Solar Centre via email, had an apologetic response and received a replacement lantern in a couple of days. It's customer service like this that makes all the difference: I thoroughly endorse and recommend this company.

1 | 0 Like the Mini Torches that have been adorning my garden for a year and more now, these lanterns spring into life at dusk with an orange flickering “flame†that is very realistic, but much brighter than the torches. They also have several advantages over the torches, which are more limited in their deployment as the latter need to be staked into soft ground. The lantern can be suspended from a crook or stand on a hard surface such as a table or wall, making them more versatile. The on/off button, located underneath the lantern's body, is far more substantial, giving a reassuring click when operated, and the difference between full- and half-power modes is much more pronounced than for the torches. And they, like the larger torch model, can be charged via USB, and so can be used soon after unboxing or prolonged periods of dark daytime skies. Given all this and how good they look, I can't recommend them highly enough: they're well worth the extra cost in my opinion!

The garden lights lasted all night in the winter and were still going when we got up at 7am. The alcove lantern gives off an enourmous amount of light. Well worth the money.

The build quality is better than I expected, and the ability to charge via USB is a nice touch. The light given off is calming and realistic and looks beautiful. 1 | 0 I am delighted with my 2 lanterns they look very nice in my garden. They give a strong orange pulsing light at night even when on the power saving mode and are a pleasant addition to my garden when unlit. The addition of the cable to quickly charge the lights is an excellent idea.

0 | 0 After purchasing two of these lanterns, I am so delighted with them that I am just about to order four more! I have purchased numerous lights from the Solar Centre over the years and have always been so pleased with them but this lantern is on another level. It is so realistic with the flickering flame and even on the power save mode it is still extremely bright.

0 | 0 Purchased two of these lanterns to complement the trueflame torches. Not as realistic looking flame due to the frosted case.unfortunatly I dropped one .no visible damage but does not light up so take heed from a clumsy owner.

0 | 0 I bought myself two of these lanterns and a few more as Christmas presents. When I first got them I charged them up and used them indoors as it was over the Christmas period. I have now put them out the garden and they are very bright and very effective. Love them. Moving house soon and want to buy more for our new garden. I have also bought the London and Canterbury lights and would thoroughly recommend them. The company has an excellent customer service too.

0 | 0 So far I am delighted with the crook lights. We had quite a lot of rain, so consequently little sun,during the first few days of March, but the lights have still been going strong at 11pm. Much more impressive than single bulb lights too! Lights were delivered when promised, and well packed.

0 | 0 These lanterns are so lovely. I've had other solar lanterns in the garden but these are so lovely and bright I wasn't expecting it. They just flicker away I'm not sure how long for as I've always gone to bed and they are still going even at this time of year (with hardly any sun). They seem very well made so not sure what else to say apart from lovely and lifelike. I brought other lights at the same time so can't wait to see them. Hopefully they are all gone as good.

0 | 0 I've purchased 2 of these lights from our local garden centre . The price was similar to buying direct . These are by far the best solar lights I have ever seen . The flickering effect through frosted glass is calming and illuminating. The fact that these lights can be charged by the usb lead provided is a big plus . The lights switch off automatically after 7 hours , still don't know how that happens but it works. The battery is replaceable. The lights look lovely in the conservatory. I'm well impressed.

0 | 0 I bought two of these for two reasons - to light my garden at night, and for set dressing when on weekend LARP events. After working out how to get them going the first time (definitely turn them on at dusk so you know when they've actually started up properly), they've looked really quite stunning in the dark and have been coping excellently on low power in the current winter gloom. My husband has described them as 'like that bit in a film where the Temple of Doom has a torch-lit path leading up to it but in a good way'. It's not quite realistic flame, but it's pretty darned close! I look forward to seeing how they look on full power mode in summer, and am considering picking up two more - many thanks to the sales person who contacted BathLARP and made me aware of the lanterns' existence.

I purchased two of the lanterns both work brilliantly (literally) on the USB charge but one kept failing on the solar charge. On contacting Solar Centre I had a named contact who dealt quickly and effectively with the problem sending out a new lantern no quibble. I could not have asked for better customer care. Well done!

0 | 2 I have been waiting for the Solar Centre to sell a garden lantern like this, not necessarily a true flame one. I now have two of these in my garden and they are mesmerising. The flickering orange glow is quite realistic in its way. I need now to switch them to the lower power setting as the nights are getting longer. It's also good that should the lanterns run out of power I can charge them up. I like these lanterns and would recommend them. The Solar Centre as always provided quick delivery and a good product.

3 | 0 Very easy to set up, I charged it first time round with the USB lead, which took about 3 hours. Automatically switches on at dusk. Very bright and the yellow/orange flame effect is fantastic. A word of warning if you use it indoors, be careful a neighbor doesn't think your house is on fire, it's that realistic.
