Great value, good looking solar lights. Simple to install and worked after a full day in the sun. In these summer nights, they have enough charge in the battery to stay bright for more than 7 hours. Only annoyance was having to glue the lower stainless steel ring to the plastic as it fell off both lights in the heat. Easy to fix, though, with a few spots of superglue.

One small point: it took several days for some of them to function so we know to allow time for them to get enough sun to power up. Highly recommended..

3 | 0 Simply love these lights with brightness settings which ever you choose the ambiance of the garden during the evening is impressive so much so this latest purchase of 8 further lights completes the total look and feel I was looking for. During the summer months the solar charging is such they remain lit all night. Speed of delivery was ausome and well packaged. Definitely recommend.

2 | 0 We originally ordered, fitted and mounted four Truro Lights, which looked great as they lit up in the night-time. They are really good looking sturdy lights. However they developed a fault and despite a change of rechargeable batteries the lights had sadly died not long past their warranty expiring. Initially we hit a brick wall with certain staff at the Solar Centre in asking for replacements for items not long out of warranty. However Nicole in Customer Support took up our case, and from that point on we have had excellent service, whereby she studied the issues, arranged for the old lights to be returned from whence Solarcentre returned them to the manufacturer to assess why the lights had failed in such a short life span. Subsequently we have received four replacement lights, and as I sit here typing this review, I look out of our window to see four lights shining brightly lighting up an otherwise pitch black night-time garden. So we are very pleased with the outcome, happy that Solarcentre have supported our claim, and very happy and grateful to Nicole for all the persistent ongoing work she put in to ensure that we are happy with our replacement lamps. I now have 3 of these and for me, they do the job perfectly. I use them in their economical mode and I'd say they stay on from twilight to well past midnight. 2 | 0 Quick and easy to fit. These were my second set as I used a pair on a garden office a built a year or so ago.. The Performance is satisfactory for the price. In winter the time they stay on is limited to maybe an hour or two, but through the summer months they will stay on until dawn!. My only grip would be the way the lense fits to the bottom of the body of the light as this system seems poor and doesn't give you confidence it will stay attached, and the fitted rubber seal is more like a thin rubber band than an actual weather gasket.

2 | 0 Only had these a few days but so far they are good and work quite well. Delivery was really quick. We ordered 2 and on receipt noticed that one of them was rattling inside. After screwing off the lens cover I found that the batteries had come out, the plastic retaining cover strip holding the batteries in position was broken. I haven't returned the light because it seems to be working OK.

Contacted customer service who sent out a replacement straight away and also said to keep damaged light, rather than return it. Lights work and light up beautifully at night. So far I'm pleased with my purchase and will purchase more lights from the solar centre in the future.

1 | 0 I brought 2 of these (Truro) lights about a month ago and followed the installation instructions (leaving them in the off position for 3 days before switching to the ‘S' position) and even though I have placed them in a semi shaded position with the solar panel angled NE ish and with our willow tree obscuring the panels a bit, they are amazing. They give off a significant amount of light each evening and illuminate our pagoda area reall well. We are just about to buy more and have recommended them to friends and family who are also buying some. You get what you pay for but these will absolutely not disappoint you!

1 | 0 My first wall light didn't work and while sorting that out a replacement arrived really quickly and no hassle. Excellent service. TBH, here in the north even though the location is in side-on and direct sun most of the day, it doesn't charge sufficiently to be lit for many hours in winter when we need it most. Half a star off because by time we are walking dog in early winter evenings, it has often already faded, but on summer nights it throws a great amount of light to find lock etc well past midnight, the motion detector works great then. Very easy to install and looks like a high end wired-in light. Better than any previous versions I've had and I hope the technology improves further.

Not as light as an electric bulb or led but for solar absolutely superb. We're now thinking of purchasing some more.

0 | 0 I originally bought 4 of the Truro Solar Wall Lights, 3 dusk to dawn and 1 motion sensor light. The motion sensor light gives off a good illumination and is just the business to provide light to our back garden gate. The 3 dusk to dawn lights illuminate the path up to the house. They are set to the lower light level and remain illuminated for at least 8 hours. So impressed with them that I have since purchased 4 more to provide illumination around the exterior of the house. They look fantastic. Delivery was very prompt as well. Would certainly recommend the Solar Centre.

I've just bought 2 additional Truro lights which arrived promptly as usual. One of the lamps however was missing a mounting bracket so I made contact via email and explained what had happened. I asked for a new bracket to be sent. Without any further delay or communication a new light was dispatched and arrived with me within 72 hours. Excellent service and excellent products would recommend with no hesitation. 5 Stars.

1 | 0 They are modern, stylish and look good, i bought this for the patio area and was expecting a bit more light from it which is not the manufacturers fault but my choice of light the light would be more for something on a fence rather than the area i had chosen. Iv probably been spoilt as i purchased two chester wall lights from the solar centre and although there was a hiccup with one that eventually got resolved its WOW for the chester wall lights they are like search lights and fantastic. The Truro matches and complements the Chester lights. But if you want a strong garden light and can position the solar panel (get extension lead) the Chester wall light is tops believe me and comes on at 9.30 and goes off at first light

0 | 0 We purchased 12 of the Truro lights, the lights looked very smart on the website with good reviews. They took a while to arrive, we were not disappointed when they did. We followed the instructions and left them out on our patio for 3 says in the direct sunlight before installing them. Very easy to install, my one small negative is that when you unscrew the bottom it is not as easy to screw them back on. My wife is very happy with them so we ordered 10 more lights, I see that the price has gone from £19.99 to £24.99 within a few weeks, this is not so good. Overall a nice looking light which works very well.

1 | 1 These really are excellent lights and have definitely improved my previously jaded opinion of solar lights in general. They are high quality lights, sturdily made but also elegant. We have mounted them on wooden fence posts to one side of our patio and they give off a really pleasant light. The instructions are really comprehensive and easy to follow and they (we purchased 2) came very well protectively wrapped and in the stated time. So good that we have ordered 2 more! One (very) minor negative (hence 41/2 not 5 star)- the screws provided are not as well made as the lights and the cross heads got "chewed up" even on the low speed setting of my electric screwdriver. Sounds rather churlish in view of my otherwise very high opinion of these lights.

Very easy to put up although I found the screws were not the highest quality rounding off when screwing directly into fence posts but none the less it's quite a neat system. Will buy from this seller again based on the high quality batteries and solar panels.

0 | 0 Looks to be well made and very stylish. Put 2 of them at the front of the garage which just about gives off enough light to see the garage lock. Probably better suited to the garden. NOTE TO THE SOLARCENTRE as I notice in the reviews somebody else had the same problem . When you have 2 identical looking products that are different (the Truro with and without the sensor) could you call them unique names to avoid confusion. I did mean to order the PIR ones but due to the name and price being the same I mistakenly ordered the wrong ones. My fault I know but naming could help!

The Truro is a robust and well made fitting that looks great on the wall and represents remarkable value for money.. Definitely the right choice! So too, it would appear, is the choice of The Solar Centre for our supplier. There was a slight production problem with one of the fittings originally delivered. Suzie at The Solar Centre responded immediately replacing the faulty fitting by return post.This is a level of customer service that many of their competitor companies could only dream of. I have 12 lights secured to my garden fence, they provide illumination and also act as a security measure. They function well even in the winter when there isn't that much daylight. 3 | 0 Bought this light to illuminate my house number sign so it's visible at night from the road. Switched on after 5 days and using the P mode as I only need the sign illuminated. Looks fantastic above the sign and really compliments it. Only negative - after squaring mounting bracket and securing to wall the casing that attaches to bracket wasn't square but the holes on the mounting bracket are large enough to make adjustment. Verdict so far? 100% delighted.

2 | 0 Arrived by next day delivery, all neatly packed. Installed lights on 21.12.18 and turned them on 26.12.18. I gave them 5 days charging given short days and dark conditions at this time of year. Using the power saving mode they seem to be spot on. Need to see if they're lasting through the night but so far we're really happy. The only slight negative is that the light cap on the underside doesn't screw back on perfectly.

Installed on 15/12/18 left to charge for 4 days in poor weather conditions very little sun and lots of cloud and rain. switched on Thursday 20/12/18 and they have just ran for 18 hours over night on winter setting and switched off at dawn . Good light output on winter setting. very impressed with performance roll on the summer. would recommend.

I let it charge for 3 days and then, when it was dark, switched it on and held it against the wall and above the house number to ascertain where I should attach it for optimum effect. The following morning I fixed it to the wall - easy peasy - and waited until it got dark. The light switched on, illuminated the house number extremely well all night and switched off when it got light. We have yet to have some "extreme" weather (i.e. torrential rain and / or snow) but thus far I am absolutely delighted with this product and the service from the Solar Centre.

That was about 2 1/2 years ago and they have been perfect, until one failed quite recently, due to ( I think) the solar panel failing. I have no gripe, however, these lights are not that expensive so I just ordered a replacement. Whilst working, they are great, look good quality and enhance the driveway, without lighting up the world... No complaints and Solar Centre give great service...

Bought one and ended up with four before running out of space, they can be addictive..:) They can also be customised. The opaque horizontal strip can be coloured on the inside without affecting the light output if you're the creative type. Gives a really nice effect. And of course The Solar Centre is the best place to buy stuff like this.

2 | 0 Ordered 2 Truro Solar wall lights. Have already got 2 and pleased with them. They arrived damaged. Insufficient packaging. Reported damage and had to send photo to prove damage. Replacements promised. Heard nothing for a few days so phoned company. They apologized and said replacements would come next day which they did. This time however they sent me the Solar motion light, I had ordered the static version. I could not be bothered to go through it again so have just kept these. The lights are good quality when they work. The ones I ordered previous 1 had to be replaced as it would not turn on. The company does not quibble about replacing, but may be a bit more care before sending would save them a lot of money and th customer less hassle. Product is good when working and worth the money.

Didn't have particularly high expectations due to previous experiences with solar lights. I left them "charging" for a week, switched off in our conservatory and then installed them, Really easy to fit and instal and they have worked great. Even in the really dull conditions of winter, they provide enough illumination during the hours we would use them and most mornings there is still a faint glow from them. 2 | 0 I ordered one of these recently to illuminate my back door when it's dark in the mornings and evenings. The product itself seems well engineered and sturdy. It's very easy to fit - just two holes to drill. It comes supplied with screws and wall plugs, although I found the screws weren't great and had a tendency for the heads to shred when using power tools to install, which is why I've taken half a star off the score. In my case, I simply used some of my own screws when this problem became apparent. The light itself works perfectly. It maintains charge even in the short winter days, the motion sensor has a decent range, and the you get more than enough light to help unlock the door which was the reason for getting this in the first place! The first one was damaged in the post which obviously isn't the fault of the Solar Centre, and they sent out a replacement as soon as I contacted them - good service there.

The charge works really well, lasting from dusk to dawn, even on duller days. The instructions that come with the light are very comprehensive and clear. The information and video on the solarcentre website is very reassuring. Ordering was straightforward. I ordered on a Sunday. Product arrived Wednesday.

When I contacted the Solar Centre, Suzie came back to me straight away and offered a replacement, which arrived promptly with no problems. If you are considering solar lights for a dark path, etc., I highly recommend the Truro wall light. I have it on the 'p' setting and it comes on promptly at dusk and remains on all night - currently nearly 12 hours. I am confident that it will continue to function well through the winter. Altogether excellent!

I decided to buy 2 of these when they were on a discount promotion to place on 2 tall gate posts at the bottom of the garden. They look so much nicer than anything else we have seen. Pity delivery experience was horrendous, first delivery driver couldn't find property then after being contacted to arrange re delivery whilst out, decided to inform that we now needed a signature , another failed delivery. 2 | 0 I bought two to go either side of a window at the front of my house. They are very attractively designed lights which are brighter than I expected. (Well of course depending on how sunny its been!). (Unfortunately one light seems to come on earlier than the other which makes it look a bit odd until they both light-up). On my lights, the 'box section' which attaches the light 'tube' part to the wall - on both of them this box section is welded on wonky! So it took some work to get the lights level. Also (for my fat fingers) the screw is too close to the wall. I'm up a ladder - the screw-driver and my knuckles are scraping against the wall. Which, along with the too short length of the screws, made me drop 2 screws..... and were they hard to find! For somebody receiving these lights, and if they don't have 'wonky welding' like mine, and if that person has slim nimble fingers, then these lights would be 5 star.

I decided to go the solar route as i did not want to put in all of the associated cabling etc. These screwed to the wall and have done a great job of providing that little bit of mood lighting. I preferred these as the solar cell is glued in to the light fitting and i didn't want some oik robbing them. would i buy again? yes.

I also love the fact that the solar panel is slightly at an angle, as I feel that it captures more energy that way. 4 | 1 Not bad although doesn't give off a load of light. Simple to set up (albeit you need to wait 3 days for it to first charge up). Would I get another, probably not before I searched for similar solar products that give off more light. Notwithstanding the product, I am impressed with TSC, speed of service and follow up. Will certainly come back for more products.

6 | 1 very easy to set up and work well, the only problem I see is that they go of as soon it starts to get light and doesn't give the affect I was after. if they could stay on until it was nearly light would have been better.

4 | 0 Well,, so far, so good ! Only had these a few days as yet, but am very impressed with them ! Straight out of the box, the lights last all night, even at this time of the year ( December ) A bit of a hiccup with one ( I bought 4 ) but I fixed that and all were installed in minutes. Early days yet, I just hope they last, as others I have had, have been fitted with crap batteries ! Super service from The Solar Centre

3 | 0 Product gives a modern touch and contemporary look. Decent white light to highlight garden features that lasts a good time in Oct/Nov..so should be long illumination during the Summer months..we shall see!....Item missing on delivery from the solar centre, but quickly replaced when notified.

4 | 0 Fantastic wall lights and love the fact that it has two light settings which is very easy to change between. Look really posh on our wall and from the comments we have received, people did not believe they were solar powered, generally thought we had wired them into the house. Definitely recommend them
