Great quality solar lights Verified Purchase
Ordered 3 of these lights for our new wall on our driveway and they look great! Have struggled to find decent solar lights in the past that don't look cheap with blue/non-diffused lights, but these are excellent quality and look like they are mains powered. The photo with my review shows them on power saving mode and the light is still strong enough. Really quick delivery within 2 working days too which was a bonus. Definitely recommend purchasing from solar centre.

Very pleased with our solar lights, but I have a suggestion for a technical improvement to your design. The sloped sensor works best if it is facing south (or some other direction if there are obstructions), but the orientation of the light sensor is fixed by the orientation of the light holder. This need not be the case. It should be easy to allow the user to rotate the unit within the holder and point the sensor in any direction they choose. This would be particularly beneficial for me because, although I have six lights, it is not possible to mount any of them in an optimal direction -- they all face either east or west. The lights work good, but a minor tweak to the design would make them work even better.

Quality product with subtle warm light Verified Purchase
I've now ordered four Truro solar lights from the Solar centre. They were easy to fit, and all four came on perfectly when dusk fell, giving out a tasteful and subtle warm white light that on power saving mode lasts all night even in midwinter. They're not overly bright and certainly not intrusive, just right for gentle mood lighting. Unfortunately, installing in the middle of UK winter, one of the four didn't work as well as the others, lasting only an hour each night before switching off. The Solar Centre immediately replaced it and I had a new light within 48 hours - outstanding customer service. I would have no hesitation in recommending the Truro light or the Solar Centre to anyone. Can't way for summer to see these lights illuminating our garden.

Previously bought the original stainless steel Truro wall light which give off a cool light compared to these new anthracite grey ones which have a warmer light. Still a lovely design and the edition of the grey is on trend colour wise. Fixing bracket is easier than the original as for reliability I hope they are as good as the original as they are still going strong after nearly 3 years. Seem to have a slight issue with one of the new ones as it does not always come on until you turn the screw opaque lens then comes to life but will exchange if this persists.
