Thanks for the review. Yes if you need the light on in daylight you need to unplug the panel. At night no need to remove it. Our beam solar shed light comes on day or night if you are looking for a light for a dark daytime shed. See it here

Thanks for the review, you only need to unplug or cover the solar panel (to simulate night time) if you need to turn the light on during the day. At night you can operate it via the switch without needing to touch the solar panel.
